It's a good setup for a beginner, and given that I bought a really nice guitar for my partner from this company, I was excited for my very own instrument from them. Unfortunately, despite how much this kit has to offer beginner/intermediate players, I wasn't actually able to play. The rosin wouldn't transfer onto anything, no matter what. I was shopping for an electric cello and this one seemed promising, I liked the way it looked, so I purchased the GC301 however, after receiving and trying it I couldn't make it work the way it was intended; I contacted Glarry's customer service and after a few questions and explanation I was able to return it and received a refund; tough I wasn't satisfied with the instrument I'm very happy with their customer service and will not hesitate to buy another Glarry instrument; thank you!

Arrived in great condition! Cello is exactly as described. Some of the reviews I've read prior to purchasing said it doesn't stay in tune. I only partially agree with that. At first it was hard to keep in tune, but as I played it more and the strings settled in, it's proven to stay in tune just fine. Love the quality, and especially for the cost. Very pleased.

Upon opening the box the violin case was completely covered in mildew inside the case everything seemed fine I rosined the bow and was able to play for about 2 days and then the frog broke in half on the bow overall I'm happy to have gotten to play for the time that I did but sad the case was gross and the frog broke on me

I've previously had good experiences with Glarry Music, but my recent viola purchase was disappointing. The viola arrived without a bridge, making it unplayable. When I contacted customer service, I was instructed to purchase a bridge myself through Amazon, which was frustrating. Although they promised a refund of $10.76 to cover the cost, I still haven't seen the refund in my account. This lack of follow-through has been both inconvenient and frustrating.

The violin itself looks beautiful. About the only flaw is the varnish (or whatever the clear coat is) coating had a drip on it shaped like an icicle. My bow kept getting caught in it and I kept braking hairs on my bow. I thought it was me at fault. But, when I realized it was the clear coat, I just took some very fine sand paper and sanded it away. Haven't broken a hair on my bow since. I only broke 6 hairs, so I'm okay. This full-size acoustic black cello was a birthday present to my best friend who turned 30 on his birthday and he has been wanting a cello for as long as I have known him. When he opened the case and saw the cello, he was speechless and for him, that was a FIRST. The cello is magnificent in its style and appearance. The bow broke within two days, the bridge is a little high and the strings are not the best. A good starting cello but could be better if you put a little money into it to get a new bow, bridge and strings. Good for the price and is playable
