Received my GT102 a couple days late, no fault of Glarry, and the guitar was actually playable out of the box after tuning. As an old retired music and guitar teacher, I did sand a few sharp fret ends and retouched the bridge. Adjusted truss rod and sanded down the plastic saddle to achieve my personal preference for string height. Overall ,the roundback gt102 is nice looking and decent sounding...exceptional, considering the $109 price. I've owned several of the 1960s and 70s model Ovations and ...

The guitar is a phemonial instrument for the price, I highly recommend for any beginner. I wanted to try a 5 string bass without having to spend hundreds, and this was the perfect guitar for that. I now have two Glarry Basses, and they are a great product. Sadly, the gig bag sent with this 5 string did not fit the guitar at all, I can't use it. I'm assuming it's a generic size. I would love one that actually fit so I can actually take it places. Other than that, great product.
