This is a sharp looking acoustic bass, I love the black. It comes tuned down so I tuned it up and strings are not too high, just right. Unplugged sound carries and is warm. The only thing I did not appreciate was the really short, cheap strap. I am a woman and it did not fit me, way too short like it is for a child. But that was an easy fix. The little 15 Watt amp is very good. I take it to jams or into my RV for road trips together with "Black Betty", this is how I call my Glarry, This way I can practice while on the road without hauling the heavy gear. 2 thumps up!

Extremely satisfied with purchase, Bass is as described and sounds great. Needed asap for our son's class as his bass broke, the bass was shipped and delivered within a week or so of purchase. Sounds good and nice action. Cheap case, but very happy with the bass and all included pieces. Only one pick, but I won't be using for bass anyway. Well worth buying. Fast arrival also.

I was very surprised on how much I enjoy this bass. For the price you can't go wrong. It's perfect to just sit around and jam. With the built-in tuner it makes is nice to tune on the fly. So far I'm very pleased with this instrument.

Having owned a couple of acoustic basses previously, I didn't have high expectations for this one, but I have use for one. I ordered this one hoping it wasnt a waste of money. It wasn't! Fit and finish is pretty good. There a couple of minor blems here and there, but barely noticable and dont affect the sound or playability in any way. Fit and finish is pretty good. There a couple of minor blems here and there, but barely noticable and dont affect the sound or playability in any way. As for sound, I was quite surprised at the deep resonant sound, producing a tight punchy bass without the "flappy" sound that many short scale basses have. The electronics work well and allow for quite a bit of tonal shaping. I was quite impressed to see a balanced XLR jack alongside the standard 1/4" output jack! The action was a bit high out of the box. But nothing that a bit of truss rod adjusting couldn't fix. Once that was done and tuned up, I found that the intonation was excellent. Best of all, this is great fun to play! I like this bass much better than I ever expected! It looks great and sounds great and does everything I need it to do! Another big winner from Glarry!!

Can't beat the price. I picked this bass up as a take anywhere no worries instrument. I've played it every day since I received it the sound is great. I do have to tune it alot but the strings are new so that's expected. Tuner works great. Action is high but and easy fix. I have yet to plug it in so I'm not sure about the electrical side.

Very happy with this base, especially for the price. Has a really Good acoustical sound and sounds great through my PV black widows. The equalizer provides a nice range of sound, and the built-in tuner is pretty cool

I mean, for being one of the cheapest bass guitars on Amazon, it's not bad. But you can definitely tell it's a cheaply made instrument. As others have stated, mine too came with several blemishes, but nothing bad enough to me warrant a return. The tuning pegs are cheap, and I may try and replace them. The tuner works well, which I seem to be using a lot due to the pegs. Overall, it's a good bass, but it definitely sounds and plays like a beginner instrument. If that's what you want, go for ...

Was on the fence, but loving it! I was on the fence about trying this out. I am a ukulele player but have thought about trying base for a while. The low price of this and the fact that it was acoustic with electric capabilities was appealing to me. This thing is pretty awesome! Feels like it is well built, sounds great (haven't tried the electric features yet), and I ama really enjoying learning to play on it!

My husband decided that the kids should learn guitar and got this for Christmas. It's been easy to tune and hasn't broken, even with our rambunctious 8 year old "playing" it so it must be pretty sturdy.
