Great after some minor setup issues. Adjusted action and intonation. Set the pickups to the right height. Plays very well

I got this guitar in Sep 2021 and I have changed strings. This week I finally did a set up on it. I also Now it really ROCKS !! I have a Gibson Les Paul and this is nearly as much fun ! I also have an Epiphone SG Special and I think THIS is on the same level as that as far as Sound and Playability. I recommend this guitar to anyone that would like the option of a Humbucker And/Or a Fender sounding Single Coil. This is a GREAT guitar ! Good enough for me to order a New guitar from Glarry. A Sta ...

I have purchased several Glarry guitars with the idea that the product is at a price point that allows you to tweak the configuration and replace a few components to get a very acceptable instrument. With respect to the Glarry GTL model, I have been very pleased with the design and configuration. The semi-hollow area with f hole allows for a light and comfortable playing position and looks very nice. The HS pickup setup works well, but I may swap one or both of the pickups out for an upgrade, ...

Unfortunately the burlywood was not available at the time I ordered. I purchased the blue instead and the recipient of this gift was very happy with it. The staff was very accommodating during the whole process. They were able to get the alternative guitar to me quickly so I could have it on time. Thanks Glarry

I am really jazzed! This wood is beautiful. The fit and finish are flawless. The sound with the H/S pickups are great! From butter to twang. My newest favorite guitar.

This was received quickly and was very well packaged. Had to spend some time fixing fret ends and setting the action. Had no problem getting the intonation spot on up and down the neck. Tuners had to be replaced almost immediately and the pickups were passable. It's turned into a nice playing instrument that will probably have the electronics replaced if it continues to play well. The fit and finish is quite good and for the price, this is a pretty good deal.

Bought this one and was very impressed with the overall quality. Just did a little setup and popped a black pick guard on and it's a really nice guitar.

Ready to play out of box after tuning up strings. Mostly set up as far as string height and intonation. I would gift this to a beginner without hesitation due to the fact that it did not need full setup out of box. Tune, plug and play!

This is the perfect modding platform. The body is worth the price of admission. Beautiful color and lightweight. You couldn't buy a finished body for this price. Will be keeping the pick guard, bridge and backplate. And did I mention string-thru??? Buy it!!!

I recently began working on my own guitars. Watched videos, read articles and felt it time to get my hands dirty. What I wasn't going to do was start my experimenting on my Gibsons, a 1970s J-200 or my 1960s Les Paul jr.. Thought I would give the pawn shops a look and find my first victim. Don't bother, they have the internet and believe they have the best of what ever they have. Started looking on line and found this guitar, at this price! I had my first victim. I have done everything to this g ...

This is a very attractive looking guitar and built well but doe need help. First impression pickup are very thin sounding so I will be replacing those and just because I will change the neck for a different profile more to my liking. But this guitar is playable and great for beginners to learn on worhospending a lot of money

OK I have played 60 years. For the price of this guitar, if you know how to set up an instrument, it's definitely worth it. Needed complete set up out of the box. Some glue residue in the FHole, which was easily removed. Pick up height needed adjustment and that necessitated the removal of pick guard. Curious as to why the pick guard does not go right down to the rear pick up trough but that's OK. Tuners needed to be tightened with hex as well as string hold down. Neck completely dry needed maj ...

First thing first it will arrive with action higher than most les Paul's! So you will need to lower it first thing…second intonation will be horrible expect to do that secondly! I got lucky and got nice frets but you may have to do a complete fret job! My strings were good but some say they had to change theirs first thing..now the pickup…the humbucker is actually pretty sweet and more than I expected..the bridge pickup well it's just there…it's decent to say the least…guitar is extremel ...

I got the blue one and for the price, it's a good value. Quality control at this price point is somewhat hit and miss, but from what I've read, Glarry is easy to work with if you do have a problem. Mine had a tone knob that was drilled crooked, so it would rub in one spot. I had one lying around that matched, so no big deal. I also decided to replace the plastic nut. A word of caution. I tried buying a standard 42mm pre-slotted nut, but the slot in the neck was cut too deep. I ended up having to ...

very pretty guitar, it had pretty high action out of the box. but after shimming the neck and leveling and polishing the frets and oiling the fretboard, it really started playing very well, a new set of strings made it play and sound very good.

Great guitar! Great Sound! Great value! Beautiful natural Burlywood. Fit and finish are superb, with no flaws to be seen. Plays well right out of the box, but after a basic set up, including setting the action, check intonation, condition the fretboard, polish the frets, and a fresh set of strings, and this becomes a real players guitar. If you wanted, you could go further and polish the neck or change to your favorite pickups, but that's purely personal choice. The semi hollow design even sound ...

I've bought several Glarry guitars and this is my favorite by far. My only recommendations would be to install good strings on it and set it up. Intonation was pretty far off and the strings Glarry puts on at the factory are of low quality.

First off, I want to state that the humbucker pickup on the first instrument I got had a problem and did not function. Having said that, I contacted the Glarry customer service staff, and they promptly sent me a replacement guitar to solve my issue. The Glarry support staff is very outstanding. I simply want to praise Glarry Support for listening to all of my problems and solving them so swiftly. I'll now give my review. For the price, this guitar is such a fantastic piece of gear. The tone and ...

The guitar is exactly what I expected it would be. Needs some fret work (sharp edges at the bottom of the neck where frets stick out) and the guitar was damaged in shipping (large paint chip in the bottom of the guitar at the tip of the horn) I'm sure glary would do something to compensate or fix the issue but honestly it's what I was looking for. I plan on rebuilding the guitar and I bought it for a pre painted/assembled body and neck to learn how to work on some of these issues on a cheap guit ...

Nice guitar. I had to dress the fret ends to smooth them, and adjust one saddle. Guitar plays good, and has a decent sound, considering the less expensive pickups. I am very happy with this machine !
