After unboxing, I was pleasantly taken back by the looks of this guitar, its absolutely beautiful. With doubt, I quickly got my straight edge, checked the neck and frets and wow -- straight. After unboxing, I was pleasantly taken back by the looks of this guitar, its absolutely beautiful. With doubt, I quickly got my straight edge, checked the neck and frets and wow -- straight. Not the lowest but I checked the action and was pleasantly surprised once again it was set already at a realistic measure. Sure it wasn't set as low as my Zager but it sure was still easy enough to play. Once again, I curiously tried it without an amp after tuning and it was true to a semi hollow able to even practice without an amp. Plugged it in and everything sounded nice, kept tune through the entire practice time. The Volume Pot has a little crackle but I am pretty sure a little spray will clean it out. The strings, I am comfortable keeping on but quite possibly many will want to trade them out. For me, they sound good enough untl they wear and I have a set of StringJoy to change them too when they do wear out. The case comes free, so not much else to say about it, it will definitely keep the dust off it but I have a nice one arriving -- hmm tomorrow. For the price I really doubt you will find as an attractive, nice semi-hollow anywhere else that was really not bad to play, except to tune it up which is to be expected right out of the box.
