I watched a minimum of 6 Glarry guitar reviews on YouTube with mostly positive results. They complained about quality issues, dings, dents, glue marks, set up issues etc... Mine was Pristine! It came out of the box looking amazing. No dust, no dents, no dings. This was a Christmas gift for my 12 year old daughter. I have several vintage guitars from the 1960s but wanted her to learn on something modern and new. I am VERY happy with my Glarry GST electric guitar! I got the blue model for her and it looks great and sounds great. The tone and volume knobs work great, the tremelo bar is fine and it took the simplest of tunings to get this guitar sounding great. I've played it out of 2 different amps including the one it came with which was great as well. Folks and fellow musicians.... this is a fine little guitar at an amazing price point. Its so worth it just to buy one and have it in you collection. Glarry you've done well... just wish you could take China out of the production but I understand why the price is what it is. Overall very satisfied!!!

I changed the tuners, put a shim in the neck, and had a professional set up done to it, and it is now one of my favorite guitars. Well worth the price, and then some!!

1st time online review about anything but had to say for the price i paid almost a shock and all kind of deal. Obviously the 1 i got was completely playable out of the box. This guitar is a great value for the price. The purchase process was easy. The guitar is of good quality, sounds good, and would make a very good first guitar (even though this is something like my 9th guitar). I wanted a Strat-like guitar but could not justify paying for one, since I play mostly acoustics. But after stumbling upon a review video of this guitar one night I decided to buy one and am pleased with the purchase.

Glarry customer service is the best that i ever seen, the first guitar that i ordered was delivered by Fed x and the box was all crushed up and i refused the shipment. I emailed the Glarry company about the crushed guitar box and they ship another guitar to me the same day without waiting for Fed X to ship the bad one back. I am going to order a Glarry bass next and if it's as good as the guitar i will write another review.

Super nice looking guitar. Sounds good and is not very heavy. The Tremolo is what you would expect on a less expensive guitar. This is a great beginner guitar. Between its looks and sound it is a guitar you can be proud to own and play. When my friends see it their eyes light up. Thanks Glarry I am very impressed with this guitar and it has a place with my way more expensive guitars. The only reason I bought this guitar was to see how well it was made and sound.

I have 43 guitars been playing 54 years...sheeesh..I bought this to check it out. First this guitar was the same price as my first guitar my parents purchased for me. It is a better guitar. It needs a good setup but will serve a beginner well.

I was looking for a budget guitar to use as a backup during my blues gigs or maybe use (at most) during rehearsals. Upon arrival of this guitar, I was BLOWN AWAY by the quality of this guitar. Honestly, it needed to be set up properly to get it "playable" to my liking. However, the sound and feel is outstanding. Needless to say, this is now my gigging guitar. I wasn't sure if I liked this guitar at first, but for the money, its actually quite good! Plays real nice, and actually sounds very good. For the money, you really cant beat it!

The only thing I needed to ajust, out of the box. Was to tune the guitar. Everything about the guitar was perfect. Nothing out of the normal playing conditions. But I had played on it, for over an hour, before I even thought of connecting to my regular gear. It sounds so clear and rich. Now yes it has it's limilts, but for a beginner set. It is above perfect. The amp is said to be twenty watts. On the amp it reads ten watts with eight ohms. I did open the back, and it is a simple amp, with an unmarked 5" speaker. I did not check the speaker impedance. Besides who cares. It sounds great, for it's size. Perfect for an apartment, or kid's bedroom. Plus it does have a headphone output, and a mp3 input, and a drive boost button. For a beginner this is by far the best quality package out there, for this price.

So you should either invest in a nice pair of headphones, or in a different amp; I'm doing the latter) The amp buzzes a bit and makes odd noises but I'm willing to bet that it's because I don't know how to use it well enough yet. Also, the strap it came with is comfortable, but feels a little loose, like it might unhook from the guitar. That didn't actually happen, but it still made me nervous enough to swap it for my old strap. Overall, though, perfect for beginners, definitely get one for your kid if they're interested. Or for yourself as a hobby. I love my old acoustic and it's served me well, but man I wish I'd gotten an electric sooner!
