Purchased this for my granddaughter who is already becoming an accomplished musician as she enters High School. She chose this model herself from all of the Glarry products. It is a beautiful guitar which arrived in a reasonable amount of time and in perfect condition. The simple strap, amp cord and picks were a nice plus and the hex wrenches for adjustments are handy as it needed a setup out of the box, unlike the other guitar which was sent at the same time. Purchased this for my granddaughter who is already becoming an accomplished musician as she enters High School. She chose this model herself from all of the Glarry products. It is a beautiful guitar which arrived in a reasonable amount of time and in perfect condition. The simple strap, amp cord and picks were a nice plus and the hex wrenches for adjustments are handy as it needed a setup out of the box, unlike the other guitar which was sent at the same time. Guess it's a hit or miss with these. It was relatively simple to make the necessary setup adjustments needed and it was up and going in a short amount of time. This is an excellent base for a beginner and as a future "mods" platform. Certain my granddaughter will give it a good workout! Remains to be seen how it will hold up, hence the only 4-star rating.

I had more to note good right out of the box. I had to clean the Fretboard, polish the frets just a little. I adjusted just the height of the saddles a tad. I put new strings on it and also put roller string guides. No fret buzz, neck and action is fantastic. I'm happy already. I did plan on putting a white pearloid pickguard along with black pickups and same knobs, etc. I may find some black aftermarket humbuckers for the neck and bridge. Plus, I ordered a black hotrail for the middle. It arriv ...

The finish on the body is nice and the pickups were good enough at this price point. A good project guitar for an experienced player. A new player may want to have a Luthier make any extra adjustments if simply lowering or raising the saddles in the bridge, slightly adjusting the truss rod (to add a slight bow or to straighten neck more) and tuning the strings doesn't do the trick. But do not change the strings if you will need a Luthier to make some adjustments - allow the Luthier to change the ...

I won this guitar at a Foreigner Unauthorized music gig by making the highest bid. One of the band members said, "You've got a good guitar there." I decided to make up my own mind about that. Gst hsh After leveling the frets and lowering the nut slots, and a complete setup, the guitar plays easy now. The paint finish and crome is beautiful. Stays in tune. Red pearl pick gaurd. The neck is birch wood with rosewood fret board, c shape not tapered. Light weight and balanced.No complaints, sounds good. I ordered another one the hh tiger strips blue.

Shipping was prompt and the guitar looks as good in person as it does online. It did require some setup time to adjust the truss rod and bridge, which is to be expected. With the setup complete, it plays fantastic and it's super light, so easy on the back if you're rehearsing or gigging with it. The HSH configuration gives you a ton of tonal options and the pickups sound surprisingly good for the price range, although I like how the guitar plays so much, I may end up swapping them out with boutique pickups. Overall, it's a great guitar for someone like me who wants to tinker or modify a guitar. If you're a beginner, just take it into your guitar shop for a quick setup and it'll be a perfect first guitar. I'll likely to continue to tinker with the guitar--next up will be to rewire the humbuckers w/ push-push tone knobs to get coil-splitting capabilities, and then maybe upgrade the pickups.

Just got my Glarry HSH Strat today and am very happy with it. I had to set up the action like I like but once I did it sounds as sweet as a bird. I have a lot of guitars from Gibson SG to Fender Strat/Tele/and Acoustic to Epiphone, Squier and Ibanez. This Glarry can hang with them all. And I like the fact that it's so light. Worked right out of the box; after a tune. Been using it everyday. As a beginner it has served me well.
