Arrived in great condition! Cello is exactly as described. Some of the reviews I've read prior to purchasing said it doesn't stay in tune. I only partially agree with that. At first it was hard to keep in tune, but as I played it more and the strings settled in, it's proven to stay in tune just fine. Love the quality, and especially for the cost. Very pleased.

The product matched its description. The shipment was quick. It's of good quality and very affordable. My daughter is learning to use it at school as she is part of the orchestra, which is a great beginning.

This is certainly an entry level instrument, as I look back at my very first electric guitar. There were no defects due to shipping but I did find the tailpiece had an issue with the fine tuners. I reached out right away and worked out a solution with Glarry Customer Service within 24 hours. I read several reviews about tuning instability, I've had no real problems- it is a stringed instrument, you have to tune it! The fine tuners are not the best, but once you spend the time getting it in tune, it may only go up or down a few percent. I'm very satisfied with the decision to purchase this cello from Glarry Music. Now I am looking at their line of violins and guitar build kits.

This full-size acoustic black cello was a birthday present to my best friend who turned 30 on his birthday and he has been wanting a cello for as long as I have known him. When he opened the case and saw the cello, he was speechless and for him, that was a FIRST. The cello is magnificent in its style and appearance. The quality is above reproach and has made both my friend and me very happy with the cello. Thank you for producing such an outstanding musical instrument.

We are not familiar with what top-line instruments are like, so keep that in mind when I review what we got: This cello is fantastic. As the picture shows, I chose the white model, which she enjoys. The cello shipped in a box with the correct upright direction clearly indicated; there was plenty of protection for the instrument, and it was shipped inside the soft case.

It is affordable enough that there need not be the expectation that she will one day be an expert at the instrument; something that she enjoys is enough. This may not be as good as more expensive cellos, but for someone who had nothing and no expectations, it is wonderful.

This is a true beginner's kit that comes with everything you'll ever need including a bow, rosin, bridge, soft carrying-case and extra strings. This is the lowest price for this brand. But it's really good in quality and sound. I replaced the bow with a higher quality bow as well as the strings, as the bow and strings that came with it were not very good. I also took it to a shop to have the bridge carved to its proper fitting. Doing these simple things will make a big difference and my instructor noticed the difference and asked me what I had done before I told her. I will be looking to upgrade to a better cello in about two years.

Cellos are not cheap! But this is a very good price compared to ~$600-$700 starter student cello at the music store which sounds and looks similar as this one. Love it!

I am a choral music teacher and wanted to teach myself how to play. I don't want to invest a lot of money in case teaching myself didn't turn out well. However, I have been impressed with it. Perfect for beginners and it even stays in tune!!! I make my debut this weekend at church!

I got it on sale for $199 and it is mind boggling how you can get a real Cello for $200. I broke a string turning the wrong peg when I was tuning it and was disappointed they didn't offer replacement strings but I ordered a single D string online and GuitarTuna has a Cello Tuning option in their free version of their app, I recommend you download it. The bow is ok but I like my violin bow better, this is an awesome beginner instrument.

What a great instrument! It came with a nice padded cloth zipper case, the bow, and rosin. Everything here is good.
