I was pleasantly shocked actually, at the sound I plucked a couple songs out of it, and I can't wait to get my bow so I can hear the true beauty of it. So, in my experience I would absolutely buy an instrument from them.

Overall I'm happy with it. Case is perfect strong and light. There are a decent number of accessories. I have heard others talk about changing their strings because they weren't staying in tune, after I tuned mine, they sounded very nice, they didn't really go out of tune. Now, to the 4/4 GV306 Violin the sound is quite beautiful.

As a professional violinist, I'm very pleased with the violin I received. Unless you have a good ear or prior experience with other instruments, you are going to sound bad and out of tune at first; this is just the way of things when it comes to non-fretted string instruments. Given practice, you will begin to sound better!

There is a lot to love about this violin but.... Cons- Of the two bows I received one was usable, not great but usable. The other was just absolute trash and I'm kicking myself for not getting pictures before I tossed it. Get yourself a better Rosin, I can prepared for bad rosin and got bad rosin. You can get a decent rosin on Amazon for like $5. If you care about appearance my violin has dirt spots mixed in with the finish. And last, but the most painful one. The E string sits so l ...

UPDATE- I received a new bow in good condition and a $15 refund. This worked great because I used the money to buy a new bridge, this solved my E string problem. I would like to change my 3 stars to 5!
