I love this guitar, but I didn't buy it to keep it as it came from the factory. I intended to upgrade everything in it, and am having a blast doing just that as monies allow. Had to buy a guitar case to fit an explorer body, added foam to the lower bout cavity, will fur that and the guitar is stable in a good case. If you love teching out a guitar this is the route to go, if you are a beginner guitar player you cannot go wrong with the quality for the price!

I have been playing electric bass guitar since 1969. In that time many basses have gone through my hands. I really like the style and overall build quality of the Glarry products. They are well made and you can not beat the price. The only issue I Have is the low E intonation on the GT 502 that I purchased. I plan to purchase the Glarry GT506 39inch Matte Concert Cutaway soon and hope it does not have intonation issues. I have no complaints ,for the price you cannot find a better bass ! I received it fast and it was playable right out of the box,I did lower the action to my taste and made a minor intonation adjustment. To my surprise the strings are good ! I am used to having to re string all my new guitars but not this ,they're good to go. Being new to an instrument, I had heard you should spend a decent amount on it, otherwise, you'll end up frustrated and end up quitting. That's not the case here! The action was a little high, but was easily adjusted. The guitar sounds great, feels good (a little neck heavy), and (burlywood finish) looks great! The bass also stays in tune wonderfully. UNBELIEVABLE QUALITY!!! Couldn't be happier with my purchase. The guitar just need a basic setup. Frets were flawless the neck pocket is super tight.beautiful paint job. It needed a basic set-up out of the box as the action was sky-high, but once completed it's an excellent precision style bass. It stays in tune, the intonation is fine and the sunburst finish is very snazzy. Pickups are low output so you need a fair whack of gain on your mixer or amp before it registers, but the tone is good; mellow and jazzy but can have a nice bite with the right amp. This one is also a nifty right out of the box guitar. Once again workmanship is excellent, and its not eatting my fingers on the frets. Holds tone as well with very little adjusting. Electronics are ok, pickups, not to bad at all, strings I probably will change out to Addarios, only because I preferr them. So if your looking for something you can afford that sounds pretty good right from the get go, ya cant go wrong with this choice either.

Dont laugh this is a nice sounding guitar, and the workmanship is just as good as any of my $2K ones!!! It holds tones the way it should right out of the box with little adjustments. So if your sitting there saying to yourself this cant be so great, well it is. You can always change up the pickups and or electronics if you prefer a certain sound, and know you sure wont be spending thousands to do that. Frets wont eat your fingers up, as some of us dont use picks axcept at public concerts.
