You are paying $100 for a violin; and you will get a violin worth more than $100. It is most definitely a perfect fit for a beginner. If you're not sure whether or not you will continue this profession, this is the best fit to fiddle around with and see how you like learning to play the violin.

I'm a 92 yr old who played stand up bass for many years including one year for a state symphony orchestra. I am interested in playing melodies on an instrument that would be familiar to me. My bass is too big and heavy now for this old man. Your cello seems ok although a little disappointed at the fingerboard being wood painted black. I'm a professional violist, so I know enough to say this is perfect for my son to start cello. The whole set up is really well-done and is as expected. It's fine! Sturdy, well-made, student quality cello. Everything came in great shape and as expected. Very happy with this and it's way cheaper than renting. Totally worth it.

Had a friend who plays professionally play my Violin and he said it sounded good to him (which says a lot for the price). He sounded great to me! Friend did suggest a new shoulder rest which I bought and I'm enjoying.

The violin isn't the best but if you are just starting out it is a good price for what you are receiving. It came with everything it promised and it is a good setup for a beginner.

I bought this violin to reacquaint myself with playing. It was relatively easy to set up and start playing. It has a good sound and plays well. I'm certain the sound will open up more the more that I play it.

This was my first violin ever that my dad had gotten me. It has really good quality. I absolutely love it and the rosin broke not long after but that was because I was a bit clumsy. Overall really good violin for beginners and I gotta say it makes beautiful music.

Needs to be tuned, but besides that my daughter loves it. There are no problems with the design or defects. This gives her a chance to see if she really wants to play one before moving on to a more expensive professional one.

While it isn't an expensive violin, I was very pleased with the quality. Great for beginners. You could probably find a better tuner but it's good enough to get started.
