The guitar is what you pay for. Don't expect a playable guitar out of the box, you'll need to trash the strings and do some set up. Even after that it has other issues like an unusable nut and tooling marks on neck and scratchy electronics. But the finish of the body looks very good so it is a good place to start mod'ing without regrets (it's cheaper than a kit guitar!! and it has all the hardware needed to be more or less functional). So far, I've spent 2 times the guitar price on parts to change pickups, nut, saddles, pots, etc. but this is what I wanted it for.
