Received my GJazz bass guitar on May 27th, when I opened the box the one of the tuning keys was lying in the box. I thought it had been shipped that way and I had to install it myself. I recently viewed some other Glarry bass unboxings on YouTube,and found that mine was shipped broken.

After submitting my review, I was contacted by Lin; he was very helpful. My bass arrived with a broken tuning peg, he offered a small refund or a complete replacement. I explained that I like the merchandise, I just wanted the part to have it installed. I received the parts within a week. That alone deserves a new rating of 5 stars. Thanks Lin.

I recently just purchased the Glarry GP electric bass guitar with the 20 watt amplifier, how ever I was sent the wrong amp with a European plug when I live in the U.S. my next complaint is the guitar buzzes like crazy even when I plug it in to my powered mixer it still buzzes. Glarry you might want to consider soldering the grounding wire to the bridge for a better connection and shielding all the cavities with shielding tape or shielding paint to keep out any interference and get rid of all th ...

I want to give a higher review, but my bass came with a European plug on the amp, or a europlug. This means I cannot use the bass amp at all and I'm pretty sad about it :( If there is something customer service could do for this I would surely change my review. I don't think this was an error on my part, but if it was then I am sorry to Glarry!

Update: Lin from Glarry's customer support team has been so great. Lin responded very quickly via email to my problem with the plug, and worked with me to find a solution. They offered to send out a new amp with an American plug for free and so now I have two, one with a converter from the euro plug and one with an American plug. Bought the bass amp combo and the set up is great for a practice rig or for a student. Received the package on time and packing was without damage. The bass was flawless as far as body and neck where concerned. The only issue I found was the volume knob was broken. Split right down the side & jagged. My finger found it instantly!!! *UPDATE* Glarry's customer service is "Awesome"!!! I contacted them about my issue with the broken knob on a Sunday & was still contacted back in just a few hours late. Lin took care of everything & went above & beyond to satisfy the customer. Just the fact they got back to me so fast on a Sunday at 11:35 pm EST amazed me. I'm a bassist with 43 years of experience and I already own 35 basses so I definitely didn't 'need' another bass. I ordered the fretless with no expectations because of such a low price. This is my first bass guitar. Sounds great, functions well, looks great, I am definitely satisfied. It came with a big chip of wood taken out of headstock which was disappointing but it doesn't affect the playability or sound so I didn't attempt to return it.

Outstanding Bass and Outstanding shipping experience. Came completely encased in a Styrofoam case like surrounding as if the box of Styrofoam created a protective case around the whole instrument. Could play the bass right out of the box but had issues with the amp. While I'm using it, it works perfectly but when I turn it off, it makes a very loud pop which I'm worried is hurting the internals. There are also small scratches and imperfections in the pick guard.

Awesome Bass! I bought this to transition to 5 strings from four, without breaking the bank. Wish it had split pickups at the neck, but that's what I'm used to. Only needs a basic setup, Fretboard conditioning, polish the frets, set action and intonation just how I like it. I'll be changing to a lighter set of strings, but that's again just my preference. Great value at three times the price!

Sure, the hardware (tuners, bridge, knobs) are a little on the "affordable" side...however-it plays very well-especially for the price! Most peeps that purchase this bass will probably swap out their own electronics and hardware anyway. And I don't have any complaints about it being too "neck-heavy"...the necks could probably be a smidge thinner in circumference-but, at $99, who's complaining?

4 because of the price, playability, the look is so great! First bass, also impulsively play unplugged. Took some free fender lessons over last summer. Anyway, there was a loose wire unsoldered to one of the pots. Bought a cheap solder gun and got reimbursed for it ( thankfully, thanks Glarry! ).
