I bought this guitar to fix up and customize. For the price, I think it's a great deal. But it needs far more work than the Glarry Strat-style electric I customized, especially the binding and finish. That said, it's assembled, and it sounds good, making it a better deal than the much more expensive acoustic kits I've seen.

The reason I gave this a 4 star rating, is because their is a hairline crack in the neck joint. This could have happened during shipping or when the neck was bolted on. I thought about returning it, but since it doesn't affect the performance of it I opted not to. This guitar looks and plays beautifully. The GJazz arrived on time, well packaged and in good condition. The strings needed tuning--no big deal-- and other than that, the set up was quite good. The body is very light so the neck tends to dive. The included strap is a lightweight, slick nylon and does not help much in keeping the bass from pivoting downward. Guitar came through in good time...... Some minor damage to box.... probably caused by courier handling....... Bass itself is sweet.....nice & light..... would be good for a kid's first base...... Had to make slight adjustment to truss rod but nothing major...... Handles well... Plays easy...... Burleywood finish is sweet...... Very good value for the price...... Well pleased.....

Guitar came damaged- see photo. Box was not damaged so assume it left factory this way. Was referred to this guitar by a YouTube review. Am otherwise satisfied with guitar so far. Will alter or add to review based on subsequent customer service response. Would be 5 star if not for receiving it damaged.

I was very lucky I think because the people who actually did the shipping didn't damage it at all. First thing I did was inspect the box it came in and it showed no signs of any trauma. The reason I stress the fact it arrived on my doorstep in the same condition it was when boxed. What a beautiful instrument. The finish is flawless. The neck shape or profile is near perfect. Instead of getting the B string I got a D string in place of it. The wood was still a little bit rough.

You cant beat the quality of this bass for the price. I'm just starting out and this bass is just perfect. The tone is good, the feel is great. I highly recomend this bass to any beginer/intermediate player.

Today I received my E bass, that is a very good bass, have a good sound, and have a beautiful color. Accesories it's not a great thing, but it's not a problem because you can buy that of best quality after you buy this bass. Another excellent thing is the communication with seller because a put accidentally a wrong address, but I wrote they and they fix my mistake and arrive to my correct address.

I was very pleased when I opened the box...the blue finish was very well done, nicer than the pictures on the website led me to expect! This guitar plays well for such an inexpensive instrument. As some reviews have said the finish on the back of the neck is just a little rough, but a light sanding clears that up...I played for 3 -4 hours when I first got it , had a lot of fun. Complete junk. Not a chance of this guitar playing properly. The neck pocket floor is at the wrong angle or I should say angles because it has multiple angles cut into it. It looks like every single pass of the machine was at a different angle then the others. This makes the neck impossible to shim. If they would have made all the cuts same as the deepest cut the neck angle would be 15 degrees LOL ! The guitar arrived with a neck pocket too wide for the neck,there were three cracks in the body (through the finish, into the wood), and a crack in the wood on the neck pocket. However, the guitar was only $120!!! I got a thinline copy for $120!! The action was incredible, the neck was perfectly adjusted, and it was perfectly intonated. Quick shipping, 3 days thanks! I bought this guitar for the price and the thinline body. Watching reviews from other guitarist had me sold with the quality and tone. Great right out of the box, but put new flatwound strings for a deeper richer tone. Tweaked the action, truss rod and intonation. The 6 saddle bridge is a plus. All in all I would definitely by another Glarry!

Other than the delivery guy being a dumbass and leaving it in the yard (not Glarry's fault) everything shipped fine and arrived about as expected. I was looking for an inexpensive guitar with which to practice fixing guitars. This model is beautiful and very light, which my body enjoys. It had a few things that needed addressed, like a slight tweak in the neck and lowering the action and a bit of fret sprout, but it was well worth the money. It is a great entry level guitar. It's a very nice guitar, especially for the price. While it does have a couple of minor issues (one of the bridge pickup screws is sticking out about 1/4 inch for some reason, and the ferrules on the back are unevenly spaced), they don't affect playability. I just received the fretless bass guitar about a week ago. I was looking for a beginners type since I wasn't sure if I'd like playing it. I love it. I thought there would be no indicators whatsoever in regards to fret markings making it a real task to play. But, there were markings for the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th & 12th frets. This is a beginner guitar. That being said, for the price, it's worgh it! I recommend adjusting the truss rod just a bit and lowering the action. This guitar is VERY light which I like. You can barely notice it around your neck when playing, unlike Les Pauls which feel like you're playing a water buffalo in weight. Im replacing the tuners with locking ones. Highly recommend this guitar though!!!
