Got the guitar and decided to black it out. New black hardware all around. Back of neck was pretty rough so a little sanding and it was good to go. Truss rod adjustment to straighten the neck a little bit and set string height and intonation and it plays great. Really like the sound from the neck pickup but the bridge is a little harsh. Original tuners were not great but I've seen worse. Very happy with it now.

Bass, that it is lighter and cheaper than ones in music store. Music stores expect you to know how to play already, but if you don't they will give expensive lessons to get you started, which they start to push you into then before you know which one you like they insist on something they like, want to put you on payments plus a discount for music lessons for the months it takes to pay off guitar.

Received my Gt502 in a timely fashion, the box was a little tore up, but left only a small mar on the backside edge... Out of the box it was a NICE looking guitar, i got the black matte, but I noticed 4 major things: 1)the headstock and tuner spacing are VERY CLOSE. The Best $84.00 I've ever spent. 5 minutes to set up and it playa like a dream. The hardest part of this whole order was ME deciding which color i wanted. For the price it is a solid product. My guitar did come badly scratched on the face which I wish didn't happen but I guess it gives it character. Again for the price I paid and for what I got I don't mind the damage it plays great the amp is so small I didn't think it was in there but it's a solid mini amp great portability and gets decently loud. Bought this from Glarry before i did i watched youtube about how the guitar was and the build the Only thing I didn't see was that the fret ends should be checked before even being played by anyone even if you bought it for your child could end up with cuts on your hand like I did and didn't even notice the frets nice looking guitar but needs to be checked out before playing

For the price ..this instrument is great, I read other reviews where others had to do some work on it to get it sounding good but this one was perfect! Shipped very quickly. Box undamaged. Guitar in excellent condition. No dings, chips, or scratches. Out of the box it did need some tweaking. Truss rod, action, and intonation. Pretty well the same as my other review except for a couple issues. The nut needs replaced because after intonation was perfect, the first fret was very sharp, and the next two frets were not quite as sharp. By the fourth fret it was pretty well normal the rest of the way up the neck. Also two of the bridge saddle stripped, with no strings pressure, tuned way down while setting the action. Bass arrived on time 1 week after ordering. Safely packaged with no damage. Looks and sounds amazing. The fret bars are tearing up my fingers because they are so high and need to be filed down and sanded I guess. I've never had this problem but this is also my first bass under $700

For $89 shipped, this built guitar (Telly )is cheaper than a kit from most places save Ebay. The neck pickup overpowered by the bridge, which is crazy hot and sounds pretty good without that icepick sound. The neck pickup sounds pretty good, just low compared to the bridge. This guitar can without any damage, the tone is mediocre. Two strings broke while trying to tune it first which was annoying since it was supposed to be brand new. I had bought this more as a guitar to experiment with so expectations weren't really high. Won't be buying again.

I'm a veteran bassist with countless performances and recordings to my credit. I've owned fender, gibson, ibanez, Warrick, etc, but my 3 Glarrys are amazing. So much bass for so little money. This recent 5 string jazz bass will be going into the recording studio with me in February. Once I set them up my way, they get "gigged" immediately. Not a bad instrument to start the bass hobby. It plays decent. This one came on time before Christmas. I noticed a few bad things: 1. Some of the screws came loose and not screwed in all the way 2. The cord that comes with it broke after a few sessions, it made static noises and very irritating. 3. The bad - Fret 21 was "dead". Strings slightly off center to the neck (slightly to the low E string). Does not hinder playing. The good - it was an easy fix (on a guitar I plan on modding anyway). UPDATE 2022/05/02 I've owned the GTL Semi-Hollow for over a year now. A year ago I just couldn't adjust the guitar. These guitars are not built using seasoned wood. So it takes about a year for them to dry out and settle in. I left my GTL in a case with a light humidifier. Now, after a year the Neck Relief holds and the guitar stays in tune. I found the Neck Humbucker sounded very muddy with little high end response. The stock Humbucker measured 7956 Ohms. This is rather low for a Humbucker. B ... UPDATE 2022/05/02 I've owned the GTL Semi-Hollow for over a year now. A year ago I just couldn't adjust the guitar. These guitars are not built using seasoned wood. So it takes about a year for them to dry out and settle in. I left my GTL in a case with a light humidifier. Now, after a year the Neck Relief holds and the guitar stays in tune. I found the Neck Humbucker sounded very muddy with little high end response. The stock Humbucker measured 7956 Ohms. This is rather low for a Humbucker. BTW, the stock Single-Coil, in the Bridge Position is a Ceramic Magnet pickup and measures 5733 Ohms. I replaced the Neck Humbucker with a Fender Humbucker from a Squier Bullet Mustang. I had them in my parts bin as I replaced the Mustang's stock pickups with P90s. The new Humbucker measured 9613 Ohms, and doesn't sport a metal cover. I also replaced the GTL's stock 250K Volume and Tone Controls with 500K Pots. And I replaced the stock 0.47mf Capacitor with a 0.22mf Capacitor. All these changes add up to increased punch and treble response from the Neck Humbucker Pickup. Finally, I applied three coats of Lemon Oil to the Neck and Fretboard. Wow! What a difference. Now the GTL not only plays well, it sounds great. Neck Pickup is rich and full toned. Bridge Pickup is bright as a Tele should be. Best of all, when Both Pickups are selected together the sound is just perfect. I enjoy playing my GTL better than playing my Vintage Fender MIJ Jerry Donahue Telecaster. The Glarry is much lighter weight - which is easier on my 70 year old body! 2021/01/25 I've been looking to purchase the Red Glarry GTL for several months. The shipping box was beat up and the otherwise flawless guitar had a chip in the lower edge. No matter that this guitar cost less than $120, it represents a beautiful musical instrument to me. Glarry Customer Service was fantastic and refunded me a portion of the sale price. For many years I've been doing my own guitar setups, including fret dressing if needed. The Glarry GTL came playable right out of the box. The setup was suitable for a beginner, but not to my Specs. I lowered the action using a 12 to 15 degree fretboard radius, and intonated the strings. That was it. The Guitar plays beautifully now. No rough frets and no sharp, overhanging fret ends. The pickups are balanced - more so than my US Made Fender Telecaster with Lace Sensors installed! I love the light weight of the GTL. It's easy on this old body. Like I said, other than damage by UPS, this guitar is FLAWLESS. If you're thinking of buying one, by all means do it! What a great value. Thank you Glarry Music.

Just received my GJazz bass via FedEx which came sooner than originally estimated. I can't be more impressed with the guitar especially for the price! The action was rather high, but I easily lowered it. I'll adjust the truss rod in a few weeks once it acclimates which should bring it down to typical action height. Two of the pickup screws weren't all the way seated which was an easy fix. The neck appears to be unfinished and a tad rough for my taste . . . 600 grit sanding did the trick. N ...

Glarry GST Left Handed Electric Guitar SSS Pick-up Green

After seeing the youtube video review by Trogly's Guitars, I bought one of these and did a similar right-handed conversion. I did not move the pickup switch the way he did, and I'm glad I didn't! It ended up being a very fun little project. If anyone out there wants to do something similar, I recommend replacing the nut rather than simply reversing the plastic one that comes with the guitar. Now that I have everything set up and adjusted the way I want it, I play this guitar every day.
