This was the least expensive case for a Stratocaster that I could find. It's pretty lightweight construction, probably not much wood, but it's good enough to protect the instrument from bumps, knocks, and small drops. Should fit just about any standard stratocaster. Perfectly suitable for my inexpensive Indonesian Stratocaster. You'll likely want to get something sturdier for a high dollar guitar. I would buy this case again for a sub $700 strat.

I ordered two of these for a couple of off-brand strats. I was more concerned with price than anything else, since I will have to store the guitars for some time and I have a lot of guitars. First of all, these cases are excellent for the price. The padding inside is thick, and the case itself is more than sturdy enough for what I need it for. The shape of the case fits every strat I have, off brand or not, even my weird, slightly elongated super strat. It does NOT fit my offset strat-type, ...

First of all, these cases are excellent for the price. The padding inside is thick, and the case itself is more than sturdy enough for what I need it for. The shape of the case fits every strat I have, off brand or not, even my weird, slightly elongated super strat. It does NOT fit my offset strat-type, but then again I didn't expect it to. The latches and hardware all feel secure, though I haven't had it long enough for any kind of opinion on long-term viability of the latches. I will note here that sometimes the bottom latch doesn't quite line up properly when you shut it, but you just have to open the lid again and it's fine. I think this might be a function of the rounded shape, since both of the cases I received do this, and I have had similar issues with shaped cases from other suppliers as well. No big deal. I would have no problem using this as a daily-use case for any of my strats. By all means, if you want to pay $150+ for a plastic case, go ahead...but so long as you aren't stacking heavy things on top of it, banging it against everything in your way, or tossing it across the room, this case will be just fine...and you shouldn't be doing those things to ANY case anyway! Cases are not meant to be battering rams! It looks good, the price is right, and it's more than tough enough for my needs.

Ok I bought 3 cases two Square cases for my Telecasters. One tweed which is fine ! Nice plush and nice compartment fit is great. The same case in Black is cheaper quality, the plush is thin , the compartment smaller , it has no padding at bottom end of case so I use three pieces of long bubble wrap held in place by a strip of velcro, not enough padding under body of my Tele so I use a small towel, it also is missing the velcro neck strap at the neck in front of compartment that keep guitar in pl ...

The third case a Fitted Strat case has like no padding under the body just the plush fabric, the top doesn't close flush on it's own, I have torq the bottom hinge to make it latch ( this case gets 3 stars )
