I'm an average guitar player. I have a couple of Ibanez with humbuckers but really missed that single coil Strat sound. Picked this up last week and I'm very impressed. Fit and finish is exceptional for the price point. I put a set of Ernie balls on it and that really made it sing. Pickups are decent with good output and sound good clean and distorted. I had a coupon GLARRY5, and I got the discount. you cannot beat a deal like this one. I( just bought an ARTCORE and will compare the two. I was actually looking at two other semi-hollows and decided to stay with Glarry. Adjust the relief accordingly, the pick-ups, and you have a good guitar. I also change the strings out and when I do I condition the neck. ...

I purchased the GSTE model. It arrived promptly. Its got skull decal under clear coat,, cool! Look its exactly this. I stripped mine down and with this world like it is now, I am custom building a great instrument. Love the light basswood body, bought a neck, loaded pickgaurd and a vtrem, its been great fun creating an axe. So before you bash this great company, see it for what they do. After reading about Glarry guitars, i purchased this guitar as beginner guitar for my 9 year old grandson. I opened the box & expected a a thrasher/beach guitar. I was wrong. The finish was very nice, no, no real huge dings or flaws, the neck was straight as an arrow. I lowered the nut a bit, the intonation and tuned it up. It is a player! I may purchase bit better pickups and shield the electronics later but i I was surprised how well the neck played. I may keep it! Thanks Glarry looking forw ...

Men this guitar is awesome, I ended up getting the Tele not this Strat. Such a fun instrument right out of the box!!! I would suggest anyone to get 1 or 2 of this guitar before getting the real deal when looking for new shapes!!!

Guitar arrived in excellent condition. The finish looks great. There are no scuffs, nicks, scratches or smudges. The neck is as straight as an arrow, no adjustment needed. The frets are all even and the rosewood fretboard looks great. Some of the frets are a bit sharp on the outside edges but nothing that a touchup with fine sandpaper wouldn't fix. The pickguard screws were all put in neatly, none were crooked or slanted. The tremolo springs were adjusted correctly. After tuning the Guitar I checked the nut and string height and found the action to be near perfect. To my surprise, the intonation was also near perfect. No adjustments needed. The guitar chords and plays nicely and it sounds good. It does not come with great strings and they should be replaced with a good set. The Guitar does not have expensive pickups but they seem to have good separation and tone control. I don't know what the specs are on them but they seem a bit hotter then I expected. But not bad, they sound OK. After handling and playing the Guitar I can find no fault with it. Glarry sells an inexpensive Guitar, but by no means is it a cheap Guitar. It looks and plays like a much more expensive musical instrument. I am near 70 years old and have been playing Guitar since I was 14. In my opinion this is not a bad guitar. During my lifetime I have owned many guitars that were worse and that I paid much more for.

I've had this guitar for a few months, everything is gorgeous with it. The sound is honestly decent for the price. I've had to do minor adjustments on the action, bridge etc; but thats standard with getting a new guitar. The strings hold up well, though untune rather quickly. Overall, nothing to complain about. The price was great and shipping is fast. I will be ordering for my fiancee and brother as well.

Ok I ordered this guitar because it looked awesome and I was right. Came sooner than expected. Everything was in the package except for the whammy bar. But that was shipped out in a hurry. Light as can be and sounds great.l have already picked other guitars to order. Only problem was the fret edges were a little sharp but that has been addressed and no problem. Hell of a guitar

Let me just say this. This is an absolute steal. I bought the zebra one because it looks cool. I got it, set it up a little bit and man...for the money, it is awesome. It has a thick neck, which I prefer, but perhaps others will find uncomfortable. Its very light, which isn't a bad thing! What blows me away, specifically about mine, are the pick ups. Three single coils and I have zero 60 cycle hum. None. Even at high gain. No grounding issues either, so no buzzing. My only real complaint is the ...

After reading up and researching Glarry Guitars I decided to give it a try. When I recieved the guitar I was expecting an axe that could compete with other mid end brands but you know what... It doesn't have to. Right out of the box it was ready to play , the action was great and it keeps in tune quiet well. I love this guitar so much I decided to purchase a second Glarry guitar. In this occasion a Telecaster. Hope it's as good as this GST-E

What I have done to date is, 1 - replace strings with Elixer polyweb super lites, BIG difference, 2 - while strings removed I reworked the nut and angled the edge of same so that the sharp edge faces the bottom of guitar, 3 - lubed this area with pencil lead, 4 - used a square sponge sanding block and in less than 15 minutes smoothed the fret edges and the side of the neck in this same area. feels like an expensive neck now and plays like one, 5 - checked the intonation and adjusted it but it was not off by much. Would I buy another one ? Yes I will and would recommend it to other people who don't want to spend a lot of money but need a guitar that will get them started. Thanks,Tom K.

One thing I'll say right away. This is NOT a stratocaster. It may look like one. It doesn't play like a strat. It does have a GREAT comfortable neck. Clean tone. No fret buzzing, no pickup static and no cable fizz. Body finish is near perfect. Looks almost like an instrument from a custom shop with its lightning graphic. Very good machine heads. Bought it for my 8 yr old, who plays every day. Now we're sharing it ) Great everyday practice instrument, not just an entry level piece. 5 stars ...
