Purchased this for myself and two grandchildren to use to augment our standard guitar playing. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time and in excellent condition. Did a simple setup and changed out the strings and I've got a nice instrument with a good future "mods" base. Remains to be seen how it will hold up under extended use, hence the only 4-star rating. Had what I suspected was an electrical issue with one of the pickup modules which turned out to be just in need of some setup tweaking. ...

Have to give a shout out to "Lynn" in customer service for her response in this matter and in general to my whole order of instruments, amps and a guitar stand. Very responsive to customer concerns and to following through with any issues and keeping me apprised of my order status through completion! Thanks, Glarry for making this a good transaction all around. Keep listening to customer concerns and suggestions and moving forward with design and production improvement.

First, its fun to play! It's very attractive and it plays well. I was surprised how good it sounded. Volume and tone knobs are smooth. My only complaint is the "inlay" is painted on. I will definitely buy another Glarry Bass.

Purchased this after watching reviews on Youtube regarding low cost basses (my goto is a MIM Jazz Bass.) Nice product for this price - great finish, decent hardware. Great beginner/backup bass. The only knock is that the tuner for the E string stripped out one evening while it was hanging on the wall. Easy fix - about $12 for a Wilkinson. Overall a great buy.

The white finish is beautiful and flawless, and the maple fretboard looks killer! The inlays on the fretboard are perfectly done and the fret ends are nicely done! I did have to do a bit of setup, but after 5 days travel to Illinois, that is to be expected. Minor adjustments only, though and the intonation was almost spot on!The neck also seems to be a bit thin ...

Minor adjustments only, though and the intonation was almost spot on!The neck also seems to be a bit thinner than previous Glarry necks, and plays quite nicely! The only negative here is unfortunately the pickup. Its probable that I just got a bad set, because all the other Glarry basses I have (6 in all) have good pickups. These set very low in the body and were far from the strings, so not much output. The foam on the back is not nearly thick enough, so I reinstalled the pick you p with some springs I had. This raised the height more than enough, but the output is still kinda weak, especially on the A and E strings. That's ok, because I've been eyeing some of the offerings from GFS, so it gives me an excuse to try one out! All in all, I'm pretty happy. I think Glarry has another winner here!
