Looks beautiful and rich in quality. Sounds fantastic. I'm brand new in the violin/anything musical arena, so I did a lot of research before purchasing. This is definitely a great starter and on violin from the reviews. My instructor tuned it easily the same day it arrived. I did buy a more quality rosin than the standard that was provided. The case keeps the violin well secured. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Seriously... There needs to be a step by step instructions for set-up. This is NOT ready to play. There are many things to to before get the first note. But it's beautiful.

Perfect for those interested in trying out the violin without spending a lot of money. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning the instrument and have had no issues with its construction. It stays in tune fairly well after the initial stretch of the strings.

Great for my beginner child and sounds great too! The pegs also stay put, which is something that I always struggle with for cheaper violins. Love it.

This violin is a VERY good beginner instrument. I'm a Junior in highschool & i am trying to learn all of the orchestral instruments - i know the bass, (i am a bassist), the cello, i'm working on learning the violin. I wanted somethinf cheaper to learn on - and this was the absolute right choice.

I love this violin package, it came with everything it promised.It's great for a beginner like me. And I had no problem putting the bridge on, or tightening the strings. I'm going to go practice now as a matter of fact!

My husband and I decided to learn something new so we chose to try our hand at the violin. I ordered the black and he ordered the white and they arrived today. Looks beautiful sounds great. For the money and student purpuse, I'm happy with it! Once you're ready to step into a more expensive violin, this one is pretty enough to display on the wall.

This is my first ever violin and it seems to work just wonderfully for the price. I imagine that someone more advanced in playing the violin may want something a bit higher quality but I think that for a beginner-intermediate player this works fine. The only real issue is that the rosin that comes with it really isn't very good as a few other people have said. It's not to big of a deal though because you can buy some food rosin for around $5 on some sites

I bought this because of the price and was unsure if I would like to play the violin again. The sound is what I expected and it is at such a low price. Great for those that don't want to invest a lot of money in an instrument they won't play.

The A string needed to be rewound because wasn't well done and kept undoing what adjustments I made. Also adjusted the tuning peg for a better fit. Overall not bad for the price and comes with decent items.

This violin is going to be tough to tune compared to something you would get at a music store, but if you're looking to get started and you don't want to pay for about $400 then this is the fiddle for you. It worth the money.

I played this for more than 2 years before I decided to get something a little better. Still, I'm glad I bought this violin because I got a chance to see that I really enjoyed playing it without spending a lot of money.
