The reason I gave this a 4 star rating, is because their is a hairline crack in the neck joint. This could have happened during shipping or when the neck was bolted on. I thought about returning it, but since it doesn't affect the performance of it I opted not to. This guitar looks and plays beautifully. Guitar came damaged- see photo. Box was not damaged so assume it left factory this way. Was referred to this guitar by a YouTube review. Am otherwise satisfied with guitar so far. Will alter or add to review based on subsequent customer service response. Would be 5 star if not for receiving it damaged.

I was very lucky I think because the people who actually did the shipping didn't damage it at all. First thing I did was inspect the box it came in and it showed no signs of any trauma. The reason I stress the fact it arrived on my doorstep in the same condition it was when boxed. What a beautiful instrument. The finish is flawless. The neck shape or profile is near perfect. I was very pleased when I opened the box...the blue finish was very well done, nicer than the pictures on the website led me to expect! This guitar plays well for such an inexpensive instrument. As some reviews have said the finish on the back of the neck is just a little rough, but a light sanding clears that up...I played for 3 -4 hours when I first got it , had a lot of fun. Complete junk. Not a chance of this guitar playing properly. The neck pocket floor is at the wrong angle or I should say angles because it has multiple angles cut into it. It looks like every single pass of the machine was at a different angle then the others. This makes the neck impossible to shim. If they would have made all the cuts same as the deepest cut the neck angle would be 15 degrees LOL ! The guitar arrived with a neck pocket too wide for the neck,there were three cracks in the body (through the finish, into the wood), and a crack in the wood on the neck pocket. However, the guitar was only $120!!! I got a thinline copy for $120!! The action was incredible, the neck was perfectly adjusted, and it was perfectly intonated. Quick shipping, 3 days thanks! I bought this guitar for the price and the thinline body. Watching reviews from other guitarist had me sold with the quality and tone. Great right out of the box, but put new flatwound strings for a deeper richer tone. Tweaked the action, truss rod and intonation. The 6 saddle bridge is a plus. All in all I would definitely by another Glarry!

I was looking for an inexpensive guitar with which to practice fixing guitars. This model is beautiful and very light, which my body enjoys. It had a few things that needed addressed, like a slight tweak in the neck and lowering the action and a bit of fret sprout, but it was well worth the money. It is a great entry level guitar. It's a very nice guitar, especially for the price. While it does have a couple of minor issues (one of the bridge pickup screws is sticking out about 1/4 inch for some reason, and the ferrules on the back are unevenly spaced), they don't affect playability. This is a beginner guitar. That being said, for the price, it's worgh it! I recommend adjusting the truss rod just a bit and lowering the action. This guitar is VERY light which I like. You can barely notice it around your neck when playing, unlike Les Pauls which feel like you're playing a water buffalo in weight. Im replacing the tuners with locking ones. Highly recommend this guitar though!!!

Guitar is beautiful, packaging was good. It seems very well built. The only issue is the AMP did not work at first, for either guitar or MP3 jack, then started making static, then sound. None of the adjustment knobs except volume work, treble knob seems out of alignment or broke. Been playing for over 50 years...yikes. Thought I would give this one a try and was really surprised. Beautiful yellow finish is flawless, and the sound is great. There is kind of a disconnect between the neck and the body though IMHO. But after tweaking around with the truss rod, bridge, etc. I got it playable! Great value! This little Tele, after :10 of adjustment and some TLC on the sharp fret ends, plays great! The pickups aren't bad on this one. I love the body finish, ready deep black and it's crazy light weight, which I love! Definitely would buy again!

After watching a review on You Tube from Doug of The Sound Test Room, I purchased both the GST guitar and the GP Bass. I'm a drummer who after 30 years of gigging, took up the 3 stringed cigar box guitar as a result of not being able to gig due to COVID lockdowns. Excellent value IF: you are able to file fret ends, and adjust intonation, and adjust the action yourself. Otherwise you'll need to pay for a repairman to do those for you. Looks great, sounds good, neck feels slightly clunky, but it is A LOT of guitar for the cost.

The guitar arrived well-packaged and undamaged, but I will say, the guitar is worth the $100 charged. A lot of set-up and adjustments needed to be made to make it "playable" (In my opinion.), but that comes with a low budget. In other words, this is a fantastic choice for a BEGINNER. If you have reached an intermediate level, I would begin looking elsewhere.
