I have played guitar for nearly 60 years. As of late I have been starting to do some recording in a small home studio. I have never played bass, so I decided I would try to do my own bass lines. Ihave a 1970 fretless Fender P bass that was my brothers. I can't play it. So I was looking for an inexpensive neck and found this for less than the neck. The finish is perfect, the neck was straight, the runners were tight and smooth. Strings were ok. The electronics were very quiet for single coil ...
The electronics were very quiet for single coil pumps. The bridge and saddles worked fine, not high dollar stuff but functional. I received the guitar in cold dry weather which is responsible for the few fret sprouts. The frets were level so I dressed the ends, lowered the nut a bit, set the action and it plays great. Buy this bass. If you cant do it, have set up and you will love it. Any new guitar I have ever owned needed set up some worse than others. That's why I learned to do it. This is truly a great value, shipping was fast and best of all I can play it and it records well. Great job Glarry. I don't know how you do it for the money.
