I love this bass! Shipped perfectly, no scrapes or dents. The yellow looks much nicer in person than it does in pictures, less of an electric banana and more of a mustard. The body is very light, which is nice overall, but it does create a bit of a balancing issue; the headstock dips down when i'm holding it, so when I play it I have to push down on the body harder than I normally would. Regardless, I'm giving it 5 stars because it's a fantastic deal.

Very good quality for the price. It has a slight neck dive due to the light body but is manageable. Glad I bought it.

I own 2 Glarry guitars. One bass, one guitar. They are a great value for the money. Are they as good as a $2,000 guitar? No. But they are great for a new player. They are fun to play, Light. You can upgrade them and make them great. You should put new strings on them at least. Maybe file the ends of the frets. If you put new Tuning pegs and pickups for a grand total of $200 in upgrades =$300 it would be as good as a $2,000 guitar to 99% of listeners. I want to buy 5 more, but my wife i ...

Excellent value, arrived quickly and in great shape. My 5 star rating is based on my expectations - I was aware that the neck would probably need a little sanding, action would need set up. The neck was indeed rough and the frets were a bit sharp-edged, but a little work with a Scotchbrite pad and the enclosed allen wrenches and you have an excellent bass. Great!

This bass is well made, nice light body, low action, sounds great but, the poles on the pickups don't line up with the low B string very well. The neck is a bit wide, but then again this is my first 5 string bass. The price unbelievable at $ 129.99 with free shipping. If I already didn't have 18 guitars and 6 basses I would get more, however, I am running out of room to keep them. The pickups in the bass did not work, I've tried soldering them again but I still get no sound from them

I read and watched many reviews prior to purchasing this bass, so i was expecting to really enjoy it and appreciate it's quality for such a budget price. I suggest this bass fully, the action may be a little high when it first comes out of the box and i would suggest putting new strings on it, other than that this thing is perfect for beginner level to intermediate level bassist.

Set up very well, near perfect intonation and action. Straight neck. Electronics give off a slight buzz when DI into system when all 4 knobs all the way up. Frets beveled nicely on ends. Back of neck needed more sanding, has some rough spots. Shipped with brand new strings. Low B doesn't buzz which is amazing. Sounds excellent with a good pre amp. Okay, its very inexpensive. It looks very nice, ie, paint, frets, hardware. Heres the other edge of the sword. Mine arrived with action at the 12th fret almost 3/4 inch high. I had to remove the neck and finish leveling out the pocket where someone at the factory had started already. After that there was some fret filing, truss rod adjustments and saddle adjustments to make. For me, no big deal. For someone who has never done these tasks it would have been the end of the road. Other than replacing the nut,this bass was awesome. This bass replaced my other bass as my main instrument when performing LIVE. I would like to get another one in the near future. Just a different color,maybe a black one. I would recommend this to anyone.

Bass needed string height adjustment to eliminate fret buzz. Amp did not work. Opened back and found connector unplugged. Overall, satisfied with both for the price.

So, here's the deal. For $119 did I get a solid sound bass that played well right out of the box? Absolutely. The bridge is off center by about 1/4". The knobs aren't aligned as pictures. The strings are off-center with the pickup pokes. But none of these things make the bass unplayable. If it was more expensive, I'd be requesting an exchange. The bass guitar is very nice indeed! A little neck heavy, but on the plus side, it will never warp or bend. The strings are the perfect height from the fret board, making it easy to play. The enclosed amplifier didn't work, but Glarry immediately refunded a satisfactory amount of the purchase price. This is a great entry level bass guitar, and fits that need just fine. I highly recommend for the purpose of learning to play.

I bought the Jazz Bass in White. Body has scratches by the bridge where the strings load in. Fit and finish are good, neck joint is tight and clean. Neck is not a Jazz Bass profile, it's kind of in between the Jazz and Precision feel, slightly chunky, but very playable.
