Pretty nice for $130! Out of the box, all I did was tune it up and it played really good. I'll eventually buy new black knobs, bridge and tuners and it will be sweet!

The bass is amazing looking and the amp is perfect for practice and attaching headphones to. It sounds great so far. Shipping was fast and the package was packed very well. For such a cheap find I am amazed by it and I may order again. I'm willing to give this bass a 5 star review, but there is a MAJOR problem. The lower pickup DOES NOT WORK. I'm not sure what to do. I was looking for an inexpensive axe to use as a project bass, and found Glarry after seeing quite a few positive YouTube reviews. While it's a little rough (literally) around the edges, this bass is definitely a good value for the money. The good: the body is light, the neck is straight, electronics work as they should, and the frets are dressed better than guitars I've paid ten times the price for. Sure, the hardware (tuners, bridge, knobs) are a little on the "affordable" side...however-it plays very well-especially for the price! Most peeps that purchase this bass will probably swap out their own electronics and hardware anyway. And I don't have any complaints about it being too "neck-heavy"...the necks could probably be a smidge thinner in circumference-but, at $99, who's complaining?

Amazing bass! I'm a beginner but I'm extraordinarily surprised at the quality for the cost. I was expecting the wood to feel cheap and the strings to be unbearable, but it really punches above its weight. If your a beginner looking for a cheap good bass, this is it.

4 because of the price, playability, the look is so great! First bass, also impulsively play unplugged. Took some free fender lessons over last summer. Anyway, there was a loose wire unsoldered to one of the pots. Bought a cheap solder gun and got reimbursed for it ( thankfully, thanks Glarry! ). Just a beginner here so I don't know if I would know any better or not. That being said, this seems like a quality instrument at a great beginner price. Couldn't ask for anything better. As I play, it seems to match pretty well with the videos that I'm learning from. I seem to have a hard time with buzzing on the G string, especially when using my fourth finger along the frets. I'm pretty sure it's just a beginner problem though. Thanks, Glarry for the great value

There's no way you can get a guitar like this for this money this is a great deal I recommend it to all even good guitarist you can set these up anyway you want the finish on them is really really nice might be a little bit microphonic if you're playing through big amps but I'm telling you there's no way you're going to be able to get an instrument at this price with this quality thumbs up congratulations glarry you're really helping the public get into music

The bass far exceeded my expectations!!! Great looks and construction for a $129 bass. I've upgraded my pickups to EMG and it sounds massive. My only complaints are the bridge jacks up my tuning every time I make adjustments, and my G string tuner came in slightly bent. No big deal being that this is a project bass so I'll be changing both of these. Overall, I'm loving it though. Thank you Glarry!
