Received my GT102 a couple days late, no fault of Glarry, and the guitar was actually playable out of the box after tuning. As an old retired music and guitar teacher, I did sand a few sharp fret ends and retouched the bridge. Adjusted truss rod and sanded down the plastic saddle to achieve my personal preference for string height. I purchased this guitar to donate to the Blake Grannemann Memorial Scholarship Fund auction. This guitar is near perfect right out of the box, needing only a basic setup to set the action and polish the frets. This is the first guitar I've ever owned. I'm absolutely loving it. I still can't believe I got everything for that price. I'm sure there's differences you would notice if you've been playing a long time but you'd be hard pressed to find a better starting set up. Used guitars online alone are usually in the $200 price range. This already came strung and you just throw a battery in the guitar and you can tune it easily. I'm extremely satisfied with this product

This is a sharp looking acoustic bass, I love the black. It comes tuned down so I tuned it up and strings are not too high, just right. Unplugged sound carries and is warm. I have to admit, for the price of this Bass Guitar my expectations were pretty low. But when it arrived and I unboxed it, I was blown away. Of course it arrived de-tuned, the string tension was reduced so the neck wouldn't deform during storage in the warehouse and the shipping time. Nice beginner guitar for the price. Has great tone. Built in tuner, works great. Delivery time was very quick. Finish is very nice. I plugged into my amplifier and everything worked perfectly. I definitely recommend for a beginner or someone on a budget.

I was very surprised on how much I enjoy this bass. For the price you can't go wrong. It's perfect to just sit around and jam. With the built-in tuner it makes is nice to tune on the fly. So far I'm very pleased with this instrument.

Sounds great, but would recommend replacing stock strings. Beautiful guitar, built in tuner is a plus, and its acoustic electric. It's a full sized guitar the bass sounds great, and the highs aren't so bad I've played 30 plus songs on it the tuners take a bit to settle in you will be retuning the first 2 weeks a lot. Having owned a couple of acoustic basses previously, I didn't have high expectations for this one, but I have use for one. I ordered this one hoping it wasnt a waste of money. It wasn't! As a musician I got this for my nephew. I learned 30 years ago that cases are coffins for expensive guitars. You need cheap beaters to leave out on a stand, take camping, go to the beach, jam with friends at a BBQ, etc. If it gets ruined or broke its not a big loss and he is still playing and improving. This bass fit the bill perfectly. 5/5 would recommend as a cheap travel box.
