As a professional violinist, I'm very pleased with the violin I received. Unless you have a good ear or prior experience with other instruments, you are going to sound bad and out of tune at first; this is just the way of things when it comes to non-fretted string instruments. Given practice, you will begin to sound better!

A simple axe - the red with white pic guard and the light maple neck and fingerboard make this guitar pop. After making basic set up to make it playable to your preference consider upgrading the strings and replacing the nut for a bone nut. If you like its feel and playability and are feeling sassy have the pic ups changed for some hotter ones and consider shielding the pic ups - typically done or should be done on expensive Strats.

The Burning fire is just a cool design and a great price. I have had two and both tuned up and the action - adjusting the saddles improved its playability. It is hard to find an affordable Bass guitar, so this is very good for its features and price. It is a very good guitar for a person just trying out the Bass. Mine had some upgrades with good pickups, strings, and a bone nut. I applied light lube to the tuners since heavier bass strings put more pressure on the gears. The finish on the body is nice and the pickups were good enough at this price point. A good project guitar for an experienced player. A new player may want to have a Luthier make any extra adjustments if simply lowering or raising the saddles in the bridge, slightly adjusting the truss rod (to add a slight bow or to straighten neck more) and tuning the strings doesn't do the trick. This ended up a decent sounding Viola...but it took some work. The strings had a very whiney/ tinny sound at first that was improved some but adjusting the sound post slightly. The strings were replaced with Dominant Strings and added a carbon fiber bow. The results...totally worth it. The sound is much improved. Better than the orchestra viola my child was renting.

I wanted to for awhile, but knows NOTHING ABOUT IT, well, I thought this would be perfect after researching for days! IT ARRIVED UNSCATHED! The cello is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and came with EVERTHING a beginner would need. It plays well (I played it) and it tuned well. I am so pleased!

Recorded my package almost 2 months ago, give it take. The items I was so destroyed we were surprised it even made it there. Violin was immediately wrapped for Christmas- where it waited for its new owner. Grandson opened it than realized one half was crushed and damaged. It shipped to Wyoming. Set up was a little complicated. The tuning pegs needed to be worked into the other whole so it would grab and lot let the string pull it back. A little more instructions as to how to set it up and how to prep the bow woulf have been nice but we found it all in YouTube. Overall for the price, I am very pleased.

There is a lot to love about this violin but.... Cons- Of the two bows I received one was usable, not great but usable. The other was just absolute trash and I'm kicking myself for not getting pictures before I tossed it. Get yourself a better Rosin, I can prepared for bad rosin and got bad rosin. UPDATE- I received a new bow in good condition and a $15 refund. This worked great because I used the money to buy a new bridge, this solved my E string problem. I would like to change my 3 stars to 5!

Although i havent tuned it everything is in perfect condition. Getting extra strings and all the goodies are a plus. I HATE the chin REST, it is not comfortable at all it doesnt support the jaw. Thats why i said a 4/5 and not 5. Apart from the chin rest i would recommend this instrument. Ita Beautiful, i love my instruments!!!
