Good bass. I had to lower the action and do some neck adjustments and had to re-shim the neck joint. Also, the neck had rough areas and the fretboard felt rough and grimy. So I lightly sanded them and smoothed them up and then oiled the neck and fretboard to give it some moisture. The frets had little to no spouting. It's sounds good enough to start with but will eventually upgrade the pickups to some EMGs. Definitely going to slap some Ernie Ball strings on it. And will also upgrade the hardw ...

Fantastic bass. Can not believe a bass this good at a price this low. A little bit of tuning, and I was ready to play. Solid, well made, light, easy to handle. Plays great, great action. If my wife let me, I'd buy a dozen of them. Super deal.

This guitar is fantastic! Out of the box the action was good-low enough for easy playing and no buzz. The humbucker is awesome huge difference between the single coil and humbucker. I was nervous about the pickups being microphonic - they are not. I oiled up the neck and stretched the factory strings - they are holding the tuning so I will keep them until they break. I love this guitar-great job glarry!!

This is for the square 'tweed' case. This is a great case for strat style guitars. Nice padding on bottom and on top of neck, as well as the velcro strap to keep guitar from moving ! Great construction. Great case for the money, buy this instead of any gig bag and you will be happy. They fit Tele's as well, but not a snug as a Strat because on the strat the upper horn stops it from moving forward. After truss rod adjustment, lowering saddles, intonating, shielding the cavity and changing strings,this thing plays nicely. Pleasantly surprised at the pickups which sound pretty good to me. Also very ergonomic. Highly recommended.

Very surprised by this guitar. As a long time player I wasn't expecting much except a cheap bass to knock around on in a different tuning but i'm very impressed. Looks great, sounds great, neck heavy but not an issue sat down.

Firstly it's very handsome. The pearly pickguard it's a great choice. It's a translucent red finish that looks great. But the best part is the neck… The frets are very well done I don't need any work on the edges… They don't stick out. Pick ups sound pretty good. The tuners are terrible but do not let that deter you because you can get a replacement set of Wilkinsons for 25 bucks and that is quite OK for a guitar that's $120. I really love this bass. I'm updating my review now that I have had the bass for a few weeks. I've been playing it straight out of the box. I did install strap locks right off the bat. It's a tradition to me to put strap locks on all my guitars. I dropped a friends G&L Tele flat on the dance floor one night before stepping on stage here in Austin Texas. It did not seem to hurt the guitar but it sure humiliated me. He only had the strap lock nubs on the guitar which gave nothing to hold a strap. ...

Great in every aspect except the treble pickup, but combine it with the neck pickup and it's wonderful. Great price for something this good!
