Very good guitar for a beginner and for modding with upgrades. Pros: shiny body finish; satin neck finish; smooth fret ends (fret tangs trimmed); electronics work; tuners work; looks good; smooth switches and controls; tight neck to body; allen wrenches included; 2-way dual trussrod(adjustable but not easy); chrome parts look good; soldering looks good; lightweight; high e-string reduced tension for shipping; fast prep and delivery to UPS for shipping. Cons: high action; bridge saddle channels mute strings(replace with compensated); slight sanding needed to smooth back of neck; intonation needs adjustment; string spacing E-to-e a little wide; string trees sharp; plastic nut w/nut slots too deep; frets 9,11,13,15,21 need lowering and polishing; no string thru body; no ground to bridge plate; bridge needs to be moved over 1mm to better align strings on fretboard; pick-up cavity would need routing to move bridge; rubber washers on strap button need replacing with felt; 1 screw on pickguard crooked; slow UPS free shipping (11 days in transit from New Jersey to South Carolina); very small holes in bridge to convert to string thru body. I will purchase another Glarry guitar (and pay for shipping). Perfect to learn set-up skills without having to build and finish a guitar kit.
