I only gave it 3 stars because im confident that what I've experienced isn't the norm, but i gotta bring this up. I bought this guitar on sale as an early Christmas gift last year. Aside from various cosmetic issues like scratches from sandpaper and a chip near the neck joint i had high hopes for it as a cheap backup. After learning that my shipment had some defects the customer support team at glarry jumped in like lightning to help straighten it all out! That alone is worth changing my review to 5 stars. Overall the bass is pretty nice. It's put together well and plays great. The one (big) problem is the electronics are messed up. Each knob acts as a volume AND tone control which makes it really difficult to dial in a tone. I haven't looked in the cavity yet, but I figure they must all be wired together for this to be happening. I like the bass enough to keep it, but not enough to use it until I get the wiring fixed.

This review is based on the sum of its issues compared to the price. Things I found wrong with it: Fret ends are slightly sharp, nut is sharp and cheap, finish on body was not quite buffed out properly, cheapest bridge I've seen on any bass, volume and tone knobs don't work properly together (wiring issue or cheap pots), strings don't align with pickups very well, pickup screws installed and different angles, NECK DIVE, extremely light body (causing neck dive), not set up properly, some buzzing ... This review is based on the sum of its issues compared to the price. Things I found wrong with it: Fret ends are slightly sharp, nut is sharp and cheap, finish on body was not quite buffed out properly, cheapest bridge I've seen on any bass, volume and tone knobs don't work properly together (wiring issue or cheap pots), strings don't align with pickups very well, pickup screws installed and different angles, NECK DIVE, extremely light body (causing neck dive), not set up properly, some buzzing. Things that I found were decent: Overall appearance, back of the neck was big but feels really smooth, the bass sounded good through rig, overall the bass is light, stays in tune well enough (had not played it very hard yet). Things I found that were good: The price. Overall, everything about this bass can be changed or tweaked for it to play better except for one, the light body. I plan on replacing the nut, filing the frets, either rewire or replace the pots, and probably put a heavier set of strings on it. I would normally put on a hi-mass bridge but the body doesn't warrant it. I can't imagine the wood in this body makes any difference in the sound. I think it is all pickup. The pickups do sound pretty good for stock pickups, but that could also be my rig. The neck is thick but I'm ok with that. The back of the neck may have some oil or penetrating finish on it but it does feel unfinished and my hand slides easily on it. And because of the Jazz style body shape, it's comfortable to play when sitting down. All that being said, the overall feel of the bass is cheap. I'm going to use this bass for when I play or practice playing songs that are tuned down. I am not really a 5 string player nor do I want to be. I wanted to buy an inexpensive bass for the tunings and this will work fine for me. I would not recommend it to be used as a platform to build a better bass, the body is just to light. For the $134 I paid for this, it's worth every penny but not one more. As a starter bass, someone would have to set it up properly and fix some issues. I consider myself an intermediate player, and if this was hanging up in a store, I would not have purchased it. I wanted to see what the hype on the internet was all about on these Glarry basses. And maybe I got one with a lack of real quality control, but, for the most part I would not recommend it. I did give it 3 stars though, due to the fact that for the price you could buy a bass that is playable or tweaked to something better.

Shipped on time. The glarry bass amp hasnt even left the facility. its been nearly two weeks. its only gotten the shipping label and nothing else. i cannot play it. i dont know how much longer i have to wait.

It's fine for its price. For beginners and for someone who is in tight budget, this is probably okay with you. Intonation and action are okay too.

Nice guitar however the pick ups are not placed correctly leaving the lowest string with very little amplification.

I just received it today and I love that it is so lightweight and nice sunset design. I had to adjust nuts, action and intonation because it's so way off. Electronics is extremely poorly design that the bridge volume pot is actually not working. I will be replacing/upgrading pickups with SD and changing all pots with CTS then it's a keeper!. Tuning pegs and bridge looks and feels solid.

The action was a mile high and the nut wasn't properly seated, but aside from these minor issues the bass was delivered as described and in good condition. The pickups are usable and the neck was finished nicely. Overall for 107 dollars I feel this bass is a good value.

Learning bass guitars do make you stand out from the crowd. The lead guitar usually expresses the face and sound of the band with an exaggerated feel, but behind it is a bass guitar that brings vitality to the same band. The bass player usually calmly performs his own performance, making the entire band's energetic heartbeat continue to beat.

Playing a electric bass guitar is easy to learn, but it's hard to master, it all depends on where you want to match. Bass guitars are very easy to get started, most people can master the basics and start playing right away, but learning best bass guitars can also be very advanced, because it is an easy-to-use instrument that can be almost as infinite as possible. The right quality of the correct tuning and playing bass guitar and the richness of the rich tones are truly fascinating. Being a bass guitar player and being able to create such a sound yourself is still a much more exciting.
