The bass is great, it looks good, has good-sounding pickups, and is very playable. There was a small issue with neck dive which I fixed easily with weights in the control cavity. I'm taking a star off for the amp. It has very few low frequencies and sounded much better when I plugged my guitar into it, also the speaker rattled around so much that it has what almost sounds like overdrive. Even though the amp is pretty much worthless, the bass is great, especially for $100.

There's nothing really spectacular about this bass, except for possibly the bang for your buck. What you get is a fairly well made solid instrument that does the job without any unnecessary frills! Mine arrived well packaged and in good condition. There are a couple of minor finish blends, but they aren't noticeable if you're more than a foot away. The set up was nearly spot-on, only a few minor adjustments were required. The neck and fretwork were well done. Frets are smooth with no sharp ends. ...

I'm a very experienced bass player and I purchased this beginner bass for a family member to learn bass guitar. It's a great instrument for the price. The neck was straight and it plays well. It's all a beginning player will ever need. I highly recommend to anyone that wants to start learning bass guitar or maybe even for those that only have one bass and want to take a backup with them to shows.

One of the best, if not the best, starter bass kits I've ever bought. I'd not been playing for quite a few years and needed something to dust off the cobwebs with and this is doing stupendously so far; clean sound, beautiful action on the neck and the body staining is perfect. I'll be sticking with this company for quite some time for my musical needs from now on.

Awesome Bass! I bought this to transition to 5 strings from four, without breaking the bank. Wish it had split pickups at the neck, but that's what I'm used to. Only needs a basic setup, Fretboard conditioning, polish the frets, set action and intonation just how I like it. I'll be changing to a lighter set of strings, but that's again just my preference. Great value at three times the price!

Bass is very nice and looks good, had to do a little setup on it, like smooth frets, truss rod adjustment and bridge height, but I expected at least that. the pickups are OK, and now that it's setup properly plays very well, no buzzing frets, straight neck, handles as well as my fender precision, the pickups I might change in the future, but it's a great road bass. don't have to worry if someone trashes it or comes up missing, I can just buy another. I've played guitar for over sixty years and decided to venture into playing bass. The Glarry bass I received was a pleasant surprise. The bass only required tuning and intonation adjustment and was ready to play. Tone was vey good. Neck was smooth and frets were well placed and dressed. No sharp edges. For 100 dollars I guess it's okay , sounds alright and kinda dig the shape of it just kinda sucks it's supposed to be a face of black to brown inwards on the body but there is heavy over spray of black on half of it . Other then that it's nice

The bass is amazing looking and the amp is perfect for practice and attaching headphones to. It sounds great so far. Shipping was fast and the package was packed very well. For such a cheap find I am amazed by it and I may order again. I'm willing to give this bass a 5 star review, but there is a MAJOR problem. The lower pickup DOES NOT WORK. I'm not sure what to do.
