Let me start by saying I think it was a real value for the $75 I paid for it. That said it was not perfect it did need to set up, and add new strings to get a good sound and playable. But I was able to do it myself following online directions and now I'm actually very happy with it. There is a crack in just the finish. The finish on this guitar body is great. I was able to get some more harmonics out of the body/pickups than on my other electric. However, the tone pots are not working properly; there is no damping of the highs whatsoever. The electronics alone set this guitar back two stars. The neck is thick, and quite unfinished, but still playable.

So first of all, price is really very good. I think most people who are buying these are people who want to practice setups or fretwork etc and for that it's great. I wouldn't really recommend for a beginner unless they know someone who can get it playable for them. There's very obviously a couple issues with my instrument right out of the box. Thanks. Guitar arrived in perfect order. Exceeds expectations. Great learner or practice guitar. Came strings loose for easy modification out of the box. Amp works and makes clean tone. The gain and overdrive appear to do nothing, but it doesn't matter since I use amp simulator software. Great buy, thanks. Would recommend and purchase again.

First off I cant believe the amazing customer service of glarry. I received my guitar and it had some finish issues. I contacted glarry and they immediately took care of me and they are giving me a partial refund because I didn't want to send it back because it plays so dang good. To tell you the truth they have better customer service than Martin guitar I had some issues with my Martin and they wasnt as willing as glarry to resolve issues. Thanks glarry you guys are awesome

5 stars based on price. I am not a luthier but have built several guitars. I have no idea how glarry can sell this guitar at this price. Mine came in very quick and undamaged. Finish was very nice but for my own taste wasn't excited about the lack of finish on the neck. Keep in mind these guitars are not set up. If you don't know how it will require a professional set up. Great job by Glarry getting a starter/student bass at such a great price point. Was reasonably playable right out of the box with a very fast ship There were a few minor(to me) issues that might not be acceptable to an intermediate or pro player, but were easily addressed, as follows 1. I was pleased with this guitar, unlike the acoustic i ordered a month or so ago, it needed a few minor adjustments and a change in strings. the biggest issue i see is in the bridge. the strings feed thru right under the springs and actually touch them. The quality control was surprisingly well , feel is very nice . Weight is very good . Strings were a little high but still playable out of the box with some tuning . Color is very nice . All around it's a pretty good quality instrument for the price . To include coming with an amp and everything you need to start . Adding a tuner to the set would make it a great starter set .

I've been a guitarist for nearly 20 years ! I can't say enough about this Glarry Telecaster. Out of the box without a scratch or blemish on it Okay, the neck is a bit fatter than my other Tele's. That's the only thing I can think of to be critical of. Electronics are good, pots may be cheap but they are useable. After tuning it up, I was able to play without a setup. Great little guitar, with great value for your dollar.
