This is my third base from glarry. Every couple year I upgrade. The burning fire bass is a hit. Not only dies it look good it plays good. No setup needed out the box.just tined it up and awesomeness happened!Glarrys customer service is awesome as well. Ordered the burning fire guitar by mistake contracted them and they went above and beyond to send the bass o wanted to order.

Bought it for a guitar to learn how to change pickups, do my own set ups etc. It is perfect for that lol. Very nice finish for a budget guitar, I am very happy with that. Everything is good except for one fret that is a bit high, which let's me learn to file down my frets and polish them up. I would NOT get this for someone who is new to guitar. My low expectations were set too high for this purchase. The craftsmanship is terrible; I have scratches under the finish on the back of the body, deep gouges on the fretboard, blown out drill holes for the fret marker inlay, rough tarnished fret wires made from the softest cheap metal available. There is a terrible buss at the 9th fret on the A and D string, and looking down the neck there is good relief on the low E side while practically dead flat on the high E side, so I'm assuming the neck ...

Good customer service compensates for overall quality. I'm very satisfied with what I've paid for now. The neck has adjusted well, but fret wires weren't seated. The holes in the saddle that hold the strings we're too small and make it easy for the string to break. A days work and new strings and a better nut have done a lot, but I'll need the frets to be filed to remove the buzzing. Great price for a project guitar.

Received my bass a few days ago, had the chance to check it out. Right off the bat I noticed the neck was a little fatter than I would like it, The fret board was comfortable to play. This Bass required only the slightest setup, conditioned fretboard, and gave the nut slots two or three passes each with a file. The item I ordered was the upgrade with Wilkinson pickups and bone nut. The item I received doesn't have these. I have notified Glarry and waiting for a reply. It is a very nice guitar but not the upgrade I ordered. 5 stars instead of 3 for the correct product.

The cable and kit bag is trash. HOWEVER.... everything on the bass that is wood is fantastic! The bass itself is great. The included strap broke within 5 minutes, the faux leather is very weak. Included strings weren't that great but he's 4 so I don't wanna buy him top of the line strings anyway. The tuning knobs were slightly loose but that was an easy fix. Everything else was fine, we got it in plain wood so we could decorate it and it's now painted and covered with dinosaur stickers:)

NO padded gig bag with Glarry logo, or the nice heavy metal ended instrument cable, instead we're back to the unpadded gig bag and .99 cent Radio Shack cable. Glarry, You should include the upgraded bag and cable for all your guitars, even if it raises the price $15-20, it's worth it. The VI played OK right out of the box but will benefit greatly from a basic setup ... Glarry GIB VI 6 String Bass The Bass looks Awesome! The VI played OK right out of the box but will benefit greatly from a basic setup. The neck needed minor adjustment to the truss rods, yes, I said rods, there are two, after the Bass climatized to my local environment. The string action was a little high at both the nut and bridge, and I found it needed a neck shim. The shim ( sliver of a business card) and setting the action it took about 10 minutes to adjust to my taste. Intonation was near spot on, and again took 10 minutes to set. I needed to adjust the pickup height to raise them for better response. and found that the pickup cavities were a bit of a tight fit, adding 1-2mm to the size of the route in the CNC program would solve this issue on future runs. I decided to add shielding to the electronics cavity to stop some noise I was getting from my lighting. For purely cosmetic reasons, I switched out the hardware for black. The bridge is exactly the same model, and the tuners and knobs are also the same type, just in black. The Neon green strings, well, that's my way of adding bling! But they sound good too! After setup, the GIB VI plays and sounds great, is well balanced, not super heavy, and a great choice for someone wanting to try a 6 string bass. Note: The GIB VI does not fit the Glarry rectangle Bass Case unless you detune the upper tuners inline with the headstock, as the case is not deep enough. Glarry's other Bass case is deeper, but I haven't tried one to see if it fits. The Fender gig bag I mentioned in an earlier post doesn't quite fit either, the VI is a bit too wide at the upper horn, but the Gator bag I bought for my V fits the VI perfectly!
