I like the guitar a lot. It has good points and bad points. I'd been casually looking for a "used" fretless bass for a while......and then I found this one NEW at a price that made it an attractive option. Amazing!! For the price you cannot beat it. Finish was good, stays in tune, etc. I'm more familiar with 6 string and wanted a beginner base. I would hands down buy again.

Bass arrived in great shape despite FedEx attempt in destroying it, so the packaging well protected the instrument. This bass needed a setup as the relief was way low, the nut was high for the A and D strings and the action was way high. I wanted to get a cheap bass to be able pluck around on some tracks and just have another fun instrument to play around the house. I have played a lot of basses over the years, some upwards of $3k. I have to say that this bass has phenomenal play-ability and great tone. On top of that it is light on the shoulder and the wallet. Well worth the money I spent. Highly recommend.

Won this guitar in a contest. Came with heavy gauge strings. Ordering new extra light ones. Intonation is slightly off on a few strings, but WAY off on the lower E string. Don't know if a luthier can fix it. Pickup is microphonic so it feeds back pretty quick, but tone controls are very effective. Overall, a nice sounding guitar if it can be properly set up. Thinking about re-tuning to Hawaiian slack key. Will re-post if I do.

I love this bass. It was ready to play after a quick set up. It's beginner friendly. Nice sized neck and fret board. Great for the price. Cheaper alternative to a Fender Jazz Bass for someone who is beginning or just looking to play around with a practice bass.

3 stars with knowing I got what I paid for. Fret sprout was real, and hazardous to my fingers. Neck was unfinished, had to sand down. Its sooooo very neck heavy, wants to dive bomb all the time. Yes, I know, you get what you pay for. Truss rod needs adjustment, but the nut is stripped, the hex key just turns around and around, not moving the nut at all. Update, Glarry's CS team has reached out, and they have resolved the issues Ive had. I commend their communication and wanting to fix the problems. Thank you for that That being said, I hope they watch out for truss rods being faulty in the future. You still get what you pay for, after a bit of setup and work, its not that bad a bass to play. You get what you pay for

I'll start off by saying, this is a really nice bass for such a low price point. It's very comfortable to play, sounds great and stays in tune. The only reason that I can't give it 5 stars is because it was pretty much unplayable out of the box. The neck was too straight, the action at the bridge was way too low, and the 23rd fret was a bit high. I waited a month before doing my review to make sure everything was not too good to be true. The tones that you can get are wonderful. The light weight of the bass makes it easy to play for hours with a strap. I was pleasantly surprised with playability of this bass. This bass is stunningly beautiful! The finish is perfect... I couldn't find any flaws anywhere! All I had to do was tune up and play. There is a few spots of buzziness on the fretboard, but I'm going to let it acclimate for a day or 2, then change the strings and give it a good setup. The bass arrived 7 days early...nice. I had an issue on my end early on and Glarry responded immediately. Much appreciated. Clearly this is not expected to be a 5 star guitar in the world of all guitars. But, if looking for a nice sounds, super reasonable price and you can do the easy set-up steps, it's hard to beat. I saw a review online from an expert and could not resist. It's worth it - especially if you want an extra guitar to just beat around on, or keep in an open tuning, or use at a second home. ANyway, 5 star for price, condition and easy play.
