I bought this bass/amp combo for my son as a Christmas present. He hinted he would like a bass and since I didn't want to spend a lot on something he might never play this was perfect. I know you want to make really affordable guitars but why dont you make more expensive guitars? I mean if you can make a cheap guitar sound this good, why dont you make higher end guitars? My GST arrived all in good order. I was missing the gig bag but did not need it anyway. Loved the finish, light weight and neck on this guitar. I agree with all the good reviews on Youtube (disagree with the couple of bad reviews). The nut was cut shallow making it difficult to get the guitar in tune with open chords on the first three frets. This can be corrected easily. Truss rod and intonation were easy to set. This is my first 5 string bass (I have eight 4 string basses) and I am thoroughly please with it. After some minor adjustments, the bass played well. The fret ends were not sharp and the only thing that I had a problem with was there was no lock washers on the pots (they would spin) and one of the knobs was damage (I replaced it with one I had). Please note that the bass I purchased was not the G17000255 - GJazz....I changed my order to a GIB Electric 5 String Bass G17000246.

Excellent bass! Without any adjustments I was able to play immediately...It does not buzz, it sounds very well!, great looks The amp is Ok..."kinda" week, but for $99 it would be arrogant to expect sound like of 75W Hartke or 100W whatever. Good job, Glarry. Very good products, highly recommended! :)

Impressive quality for the price. I work on guitars and watch Dave's World of Fun Stuff for setup tips. My Glarry 5 string was out-of-the-box playable with little fret sprout. I watched many reviews on YouTube and this bass guitar is everything they said it is. I am an intermediate guitar player for about 45 years. Out of the box, no adjustments needed! The intonation is correct, the action is good, and it stays in tune. I recomend this bass guitar to beginners as well as any level guitar player.

Guitar is beautiful. I purchased it for my son for Xmas. He loves skeletons and skulls. However I found that the frets are each serrated and were never polished plus fret sprout. The other problem is that the shape of the whammy bar is incorrect and curved wrong. A replacement would be appreciated.

I ordered this one on the 15th and received it on the 18th. Good job! I let this guitar sit inside for over an hour to let it come to room temperature, and tuned, top string down. The lower E sting slipped a couple of times, almost popping, feeling like a gear was slipping. I let it sit some more an re-tuned. So far so good. The fretboard is perfect, and smooth, and really feels good.. No sharp edges at all. Slightly bowed, I will adjust to relief one quarter turn, and then let it sit overnight. ...
