Okay, its very inexpensive. It looks very nice, ie, paint, frets, hardware. Heres the other edge of the sword. Mine arrived with action at the 12th fret almost 3/4 inch high. Okay, its very inexpensive. It looks very nice, ie, paint, frets, hardware. Heres the other edge of the sword. Mine arrived with action at the 12th fret almost 3/4 inch high. I had to remove the neck and finish leveling out the pocket where someone at the factory had started already. After that there was some fret filing, truss rod adjustments and saddle adjustments to make. For me, no big deal. For someone who has never done these tasks it would have been the end of the road. So far I have worked a bass and a 6 string guitar from Glarry. The parts and pieces make a decent instrument. If you have never worked on an instrument like this though, you'd probably give up unless your desire to play outweighed any flaws in your instrument. The pickups and electronics are cheesy, but record well. The finish is gorgeous. Fretwork is passable. Tuning keys, while not confidence inspiring, work well after you tighten them up. Bottom line, aimed at a market that will probably not continue on in their musical education. I am a 50 year plus veteran player and sometime luthier and this works well for me.
