I ordered the Glarry GIB bass guitar in burlywood and it's just been awesome since day one. It was shipped to my house surprisingly fast. All I had to do right out the box was some very minor tuning, and I was good to go in just a couple of minutes.. Love that it came with a strap, power cord, etc.--things I would have had to buy and have shipped to me separately. I've already recommended Glarry to a friend as THE place to go for budding or living room musicians.

The bass is nice and light but also sturdy. 2 issues with my bass is the nut is uneven. The side nearest to the e-string is mich higher than the end near the g-string. Second issue is the back of the neck is rough in large spots as though it wasn't completely sanded.

I love My Glarry 5 string Bass, My luthier was impressed with the bass also, especially after i told him the total price plus shipping in a few days. I must admit, I did change out the pickups to Hum-cancelling pickups i ordered from Ali-express. That and a setup ,was all i did to the bass after it was purchased. The only negative thing is the gig bag for the 5 string, seems to be the same one for the 4 string, and it barely zips all they way up. Other than that comment, I still love the bass b ...

really good for a really good price! i'm a beginner and was looking for something cheap (relatively) and this was really nice. the amp is alright, too - i'm just happy i didn't have to go out and buy one! it shipped in a very surprisingly timely manner, too. :)

Perfectly usable bass. The potentiometers are mediocre, they seem to have a very non-smooth effect with a lot of the effect at the end of the range. But it's still a totally usable bass, quite a steal for the price. Nice light weight for those who prefer that.

Looking for an inexpensive P bass. I wasn't expecting that much and figured I would have to do a lot of adjusting and overall clean up work. To my delight the guitar was pretty much ready to go right out of the box. After watching several reviews on Glarry products, I decided to take a chance on a 5 string bass. I am glad I did. Fit and finish are much better than expected. There were some small bits of glue exposed around the pickups but were easily cleaned up and only a minor cosmetic issue. It has kept tune better than expected and intonation was excellent right out of the box. I am very pleased with the quality of this bass. I lowered the action a bit, tuned it up, and it works quite nicely. I had known Glarry would have some nice quality instruments that a beginner could buy for a relatively low price and this guitar fits the bill.

I am not a bass player. I am a guitarist that likes to have fun with other instruments. Im also not rich, so spending hundreds on a mediocre guitar just does not make sense. I am also decent at setting up guitars and can do most work on my own. That being said, I did not see this as any risk to myself, buying this bass guitar after seeing several video reviews on it by much better players than myself. I will say that all the comments on this bass from the reviews I have watched... I agree with. ... I am not a bass player. I am a guitarist that likes to have fun with other instruments. Im also not rich, so spending hundreds on a mediocre guitar just does not make sense. I am also decent at setting up guitars and can do most work on my own. That being said, I did not see this as any risk to myself, buying this bass guitar after seeing several video reviews on it by much better players than myself. I will say that all the comments on this bass from the reviews I have watched... I agree with. The instrument is LIGHT. Like a toy. But don't let that fool you. String action is not the lowest I have seen, but I can work with it, and Im no bassist by any means. The majority of the weight is in the neck, which has its good and bad. The good means that its dense enough to not give in too much to the weight of the strings and stresses of the truss. The bad is the neck dive from the bad balance. I am used to it now, but at first my left shoulder was sore. Not from the weight of the entire guitar. And I have a pretty heavy gibby LP. It was from holding the neck up and keeping it from diving. The fret ends were just a little sharp, so i ran a sanding block down them to even it out (its 85bucks so i dont care if i was sloppy). pick ups sound fine through a tc bam200 into a 2x12 4ohm cab and no pedals. knobs turn nicely and are predictable in their adjustments. The pickguard is a little warped in one spot so it doesnt sit flush with the body. But i didnt notice it until recently so i never felt it. Tuners arent the greatest, but they tune and hold. Overall this is a perfect guitar for a beginner or hobbyist where name brand and micro improvements in playability and construction dont matter as much. or if you like to work on guitars. or if you want to customize one and just need the shell to start off. im even considering finding another body and swapping everything just to get the balance right then i would be more than happy with this. if you fit any of these criteria, get this bass. you wont be sorry. you will be sorry if you think everything you pay pennies on the dollar for should have the fit and finish of their famous counterparts and refuse to learn how to do a little work on your own gear.

It's fine for its price. For beginners and for someone who is in tight budget, this is probably okay with you. Intonation and action are okay too.

It plays and sounds great. It arrived earlier than expected. It also looks great. I did have a small ding on the underside of the headstock and they quickly made it right. Customer service was great. Shipping was great. The bass and amp are much better than expected.

Ok so I have ALOT to say about this bass, Well start from the headstock down. Tuners: they are hit or miss with smoothness but they hold tune, however they don't sit flush on the headstock Decal: nice and dark I think I will keep the logo Nut: very sharp edges, jabbed my hand on it sliding up and down the neck while checking feel.
