For a sub $100 bass it's really great. I just got it learn how to play and it sounds really good for what it is. When it arrived it was well intonated and set up decent, there was only one cosmetic blemish on the tuner but it was minor, the neck has either no finish or a very light finish but once you play it enough it smoothens up and feels good. Great bass would, definitely recommend to a new player.

Very nice,,,the finish is flawless,,,neck and fret board are great,,I will change the pickups and Tuners,,but that's just me,,,for a first 5 string or for someone like me that is looking for a nice solid body and neck to do mods to,,this one is perfect,,glad I got it

The bass and amp arrived earlier than expected, and is beautiful. The only complaint/issue is that after I placed the order, I never heard even a peep from the company. No acknowledgment of the order, no emailed receipt, no shipping notification, no tracking number...nothing. No communication whatsoever. Other than that issue, which is important for customer service, the bass is beautiful. The amp has a roar/static sound, but will work for practice I guess.

This a good bass guitar and a really great value. You just need to be ready for the little problems that you may find. The cavities are not shielded and the guitar does pickup noise. The neck pickup was stuck in the guard and had to be pulled a bit to come up to height. After a little setup and tinkering, it plays well and is fun. Just be aware that it needs a bit of TLC.

I don't know how you folks do it, but this bass is a good, solid instrument, and at the price it's frankly AMAZING! Minor neck and intonation tweaking after shipping, and it's ready to hold it's own in recording, gigging, etc. Might have to try one of your guitars soon... ;-)

My Glarry GJazz! "Big Enos" I bought it with the intent to covert it to fret less. I also upgraded the pickups to Guitar Fetish 10k Alnico's. Also the electronics and the bridge. I finished it off with some D'Addario flat wound strings and black screws in the pick guard for added flair. Lol! This bass was great right out of the box I only made it "mine" with the changes. Considering the price, I have no choice but to give this 5 stars. Straight out of the box, a few adjustments are needed, but for a beginner, this is perfectly usable. For fun, I ended up completely modding mine, but after a proper setup it would have been totally fine as is. The neck is a bit chunky and some might have issues with that, but I liked it. This was a gift for my 20 year old son who has some experience playing but not much. He loves it and I love the price. It's a beautiful bass and the amp cant be beat for the price. Outstanding Bass and Outstanding shipping experience. Came completely encased in a Styrofoam case like surrounding as if the box of Styrofoam created a protective case around the whole instrument. I want you to say this number out loud... $89.99. Louder... $89.99!!! This bass is worth way more than $89.99. I ordered the GP Bass slightly cringing thinking it might be a big dookie stick but fun to play with here and there. Ordered the GP Bass in sunset. Arrived on time & in good condition. Much better than I was expecting for the price.Out of the box , just needed tuning. Action, intonation, etc. was surprisingly good. Very pleased with the experience. Now looking at the Burly wood F hole Tele!

The Good: This is a steal for the money. Out of the box it was a playable, solid instrument that a beginner could learn fretless bass on. It holds tune well, has minimal neck dive, and good quality wood. I was surprised and how light the bass felt and the neck was thin and fast. The pickup is solid and wiring was well done. Awesome value! Of course there are a few issues: The fingerboard seems a little soft. My impulse is to want to put some kind of finish on it. The lack of fret lines on the side of the fretboard makes playing intonation more of a challenge than it needs to be. I'm not sure why they would bother to put the dots but not lines where you actually put your fingers. The pickups (I assume cheap ceramics, though I haven't yet looked) lack the low end definition that I'm used to. I ordered some P-Bass pic ...

Super price on a great beginner instrument. It was playable out of the box. Would I play it professionally? NO but that is not what it is for. This is bass is way better than anything I started with and worth well more than the 129 buck price. With a bridge and some tuners it really could be a gigger. Mine sounds amazingly good both direct and through a nice bass rig. Needed a new bass with clear sound and good playing ergonomics, but since my budget was low and I already had a mid range violin bass, I figured I was just gonna get a crappy bass for $90. Well, it was still $90, but crappy it was not. The price point for how good this is is hard to believe. Easy recommend beginner bass for anyone who needs to learn all the technical skills of bass.

Could play the bass right out of the box but had issues with the amp. While I'm using it, it works perfectly but when I turn it off, it makes a very loud pop which I'm worried is hurting the internals. There are also small scratches and imperfections in the pick guard.
