This is a fantastic bass at this price. Looks beautiful and plays well. Some setup was required, as the action was a bit high, but the body was flawless and the build quality was great.

I liked the affordable price and the look of the blue sunburst jazz bass. My plan was to completely modify it which I did. I sanded and stained the neck a darker color, applied several coats of polyurethane and a final coat of paste wax. I purchased the Glarry bass to be used with a student. After some minor setup it was ready to go. I purchased it with the little amplifier, I would probably not buy the amp again as it is sort of a tabletop practice amp. But I would certainly buy another Glarry bass. For a sub $100 bass it's really great. I just got it learn how to play and it sounds really good for what it is. When it arrived it was well intonated and set up decent, there was only one cosmetic blemish on the tuner but it was minor, the neck has either no finish or a very light finish but once you play it enough it smoothens up and feels good. Great bass would, definitely recommend to a new player.

The bass and amp arrived earlier than expected, and is beautiful. The only complaint/issue is that after I placed the order, I never heard even a peep from the company. No acknowledgment of the order, no emailed receipt, no shipping notification, no tracking number...nothing. No communication whatsoever. Other than that issue, which is important for customer service, the bass is beautiful. The amp has a roar/static sound, but will work for practice I guess.

This a good bass guitar and a really great value. You just need to be ready for the little problems that you may find. The cavities are not shielded and the guitar does pickup noise. The neck pickup was stuck in the guard and had to be pulled a bit to come up to height. After a little setup and tinkering, it plays well and is fun. Just be aware that it needs a bit of TLC.

I don't know how you folks do it, but this bass is a good, solid instrument, and at the price it's frankly AMAZING! Minor neck and intonation tweaking after shipping, and it's ready to hold it's own in recording, gigging, etc. Might have to try one of your guitars soon... ;-)

My Glarry GJazz! "Big Enos" I bought it with the intent to covert it to fret less. I also upgraded the pickups to Guitar Fetish 10k Alnico's. Also the electronics and the bridge. I finished it off with some D'Addario flat wound strings and black screws in the pick guard for added flair. Lol! This bass was great right out of the box I only made it "mine" with the changes. Considering the price, I have no choice but to give this 5 stars. Straight out of the box, a few adjustments are needed, but for a beginner, this is perfectly usable. For fun, I ended up completely modding mine, but after a proper setup it would have been totally fine as is. The neck is a bit chunky and some might have issues with that, but I liked it. This was a gift for my 20 year old son who has some experience playing but not much. He loves it and I love the price. It's a beautiful bass and the amp cant be beat for the price. Outstanding Bass and Outstanding shipping experience. Came completely encased in a Styrofoam case like surrounding as if the box of Styrofoam created a protective case around the whole instrument. I ordered the GP Bass slightly cringing thinking it might be a big dookie stick but fun to play with here and there. Ordered the GP Bass in sunset. Arrived on time & in good condition. Much better than I was expecting for the price.Out of the box , just needed tuning. Action, intonation, etc. was surprisingly good. Very pleased with the experience. Now looking at the Burly wood F hole Tele!

The Good: This is a steal for the money. Out of the box it was a playable, solid instrument that a beginner could learn fretless bass on. It holds tune well, has minimal neck dive, and good quality wood. I was surprised and how light the bass felt and the neck was thin and fast. The pickup is solid and wiring was well done.
