For the price I have to give it 5 stars. The strings they ship with are unusable, they literally feel jagged tin and sound like it. Clip them off and try some nylons or something else. The dots are completely off, just get a tuner and a pencil to mark the side frets yourself. For the price you can't beat it, totally playable with aftermarket strings.

Received my Glarry PBass and I was surprised at the overall quality! For such a low cost, I received a very playable guitar. As far as needing a minor setup (which would totally be expected) it wasn't far off! I did have a minor issue where the pickguard was mounted at a slight angle where the position effected both the pickup alignment under the strings, and and also some of the mounting screws missed the underlying body. Glarry Support had no problem shipping a replacement to me ASAP.!

I bought this for my son as a gift, he is going to LOVE it. It seems really well made, and it sounds great. He's just starting out so the amp will be great while he's learning. I ordered this 4 string bass due to a semi- permanent left hand injury with has made it impossible to play my Glarry 5 string bass. After opening the box, setting the neck, checking out relief and setting the action this guitar has a beautiful true sound and holds it tune exceptionally well. Fingering thru the fret board with 3 fingers is now possible, and for $110 you can't get a better bass for twice the cash of a Glarry. I LOVE my Glarry 4 string GIB Bass. After playing guitar for over 40 years, I decided to try my hand at bass. I didn't want to spend a lot due to finances but having had excellent service from customer service on a recent order, I didn't think I had anything to lose ordering from Glarry. The bass arrived yesterday and I haven't put the bass down. Well maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit. But just a bit. Seriously, for the price, you can't go wrong going with Glarry. Thanks.

I bought this guitar in September. I retired my other Musicmaster bass after 40 plus years. I have the Burning Fire 6 string and enjoy it very much. Out of the box all good. Had to set string height and intonation only. Finish is perfect. All in all a very nice bass. Good sound and tone. I do have to get used to long scale necks though. My Musicmaster is 30 inch scale. Short arms now have to reach farther. I told my wife I like it a lot. She said good I can name it My Last Hurrah. MMMMM maybe!. ...

The bass was wrapped in protective wrapping and encased in a rigid styrofoam coffin type deal,then placed in a cardboard box.This bass can't be beat or even approcached for the price.Overall I'm extremely happy and satisfied.
