My husband wanted to learn how to play the cello. The cello arrived in great condition. It looked beautiful. He was able to tune it just fine and it did take a couple of days to "hold" the tune, but that is expected. It's been a great starter. Just a tip for those starting too. Use a nail file to rough up the rosin and then the rosin will better coat the bow. I would recommend for anyone needing a starter cello!

My wife is thrilled with this. It is affordable enough that there need not be the expectation that she will one day be an expert at the instrument; something that she enjoys is enough. This may not be as good as more expensive cellos, but for someone who had nothing and no expectations, it is wonderful.

As a 75-year-old with no prior musical experience, I am absolutely thrilled with this keyboard! It's been just a couple of weeks, and I'm already playing some songs. While I'm still figuring out the many buttons and features, I genuinely love it. My only gripe is that the manual doesn't provide much guidance, so I've had to explore the functions on my own. Regardless, whether you're old or young, this keyboard is fantastic for learning and playing. Highly recommend!

For a beginner this is a great instrument to get. The case is also very sturdy and works well. Maybe add something to the case so it remains open when you take the instrument out of it. Overall a great buy for a beginner.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It is the 4th instrument from Glarry I have purchased, and I have never been let down. I cannot imagine a better starter instrument. I agree with other reviews, the bow is a little hard to rosin up, and the fine tuners are a little hard to tune. But these are minor considerations. The case is what I expected material wise for the price. The problem is that I ordered it for a Les Paul style guitar and it is a little shallow and hard to close with that thick of a body...not sure if it will affect neck at this point....The padding should be adjusted for different guitars or specify in ad for telecaster style only

Came and looks as described. I was impressed with the cellos resonance for being so non-expensive compared to my local music store. I would definitely recommend these cellos to anyone just starting out like myself & someone who doesn't want to pay arm and leg for an instrument that they aren't sure how long they will play it (like your kid in school perhaps).

This is a really good deal. The instrument I received has good tone, and was very playable as soon as I stood up the bridge and tuned up. You might need to use a very small file to cut the bridge grooves a bit deeper, I did. The bow is OK, but it's definitely a bargain bow. I would recommend getting better rosin as well. Build quality is very good for the price. Finish is also very good. My only complaint is the fine tuners, which are not very good, and felt a bit "gritty" until I cleaned ...

The price is good. It came with all parts. The G string was a little bent for my liking and I would like to see a shine to it. Tuner works perfectly but it was hard to tune the strings due to the pegs coming lose. Overall it is still a good instrument.
