I received the Glarry fretless bass as a gift from my daughters and wife for my birthday. This is actually my third Glarry bass, they make great modding platforms. Received in good shape, did require some setup, truss rod adjustment, intonation, pickup and string height but that almost a given. My Glarry GV201 arrived a week after purchase, shipped via FedEx. For $80ish, this bass is pretty good. Pickup works nicely, sounds punchy like a p bass should. Action is a bit high, but not too bad. The only issue I've noticed is the neck-dive. If I were advising someone wanting to learn bass, I might push them toward something nicer, but for just a p bass on the side, I'd say this is definitely a bargain.

For the price you can't really go wrong. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the bridge pickup was in pieces. I am fairly handy and fixed it myself. After a repair and a couple other tweaks it's now a respectable instrument.

The guitar arrived safely. Intonation had to be set, action lowered, tuners replaced, lightly sanded the back of the neck. Fret work is surprisingly very good. After these adjustments the guitar plays and sounds great. Great low priced platform to do mods with.

Like many of the reviews I found, for the money, this is an pretty good bass. Out of the box it just needed a tune up. The action is a little high for my liking but by no means bad. Electrical noise, at least playing through a USB sound card, is very low to not noticeable. A great first bass and probably one that will hang around ....... if you have enough space :)

Glarry Tele Thinline Style Amber color. For the Price I give it a 5. The playability I give it a 4. Pickups and Electronics, Tuners Hardware etc. I give it a 4. The Neck i give it a 3, i had to do a truss rod adjustment, the frets are ok, no fret buzz on mine. So Overall this is a 4 Star Guitar in my opinion for what it is Im going to put a better neck on it. This guitar finish is nice, pics are enclosed.

Item received in good condition in spite of no through packing, I'm surprised USPS didn't step on it.. I would normally order an instrument by UPS.... So I haven't tried it out yet, just checked for damage, but noticed there are two "tone" knobs and no volume knob. What do I do with this situation? I will not be able to try it out until next week, so no other feedback, but 4 other Glarry guitars I've bought have been good as expect this will be. The bass itself is great and plays well and sounds good. Taking away 1 star for the *awful* instrument cable that shipped with it. I'd pay just a bit more to have it come with a much better cable.

First thing I noticed was the strings were not centered between the pickup poles. The supplied bridge was just a bit to narrow for the string spacing and those pickups. I had a 17 mm bridge and it solved that part of the problem, the other was the Pickups were set too deep to be really responsive on highs, just a bit of plastic-foam under each allowed me to bring them up and achieve better balance between the 2 pickups. I had high hopes after reading the other reviews. After a lot of work, I have a playable instrument. First the bad points...The back of the neck has a big dip in the nut-1st fret area where it was over sanded that looks and feels awful. The bridge (and nut) are too narrow for the fingerboard. The pickups are non-standard width so aftermarket upgrades will not fit. The bass is incredibly neck heavy whether with a strap or sitting. There were many rough spots on the back of the neck. I give this 4 stars because nothing is perfect, I wouldn't even give my Gibson 5 out of 5. But this is as close to perfect of a starter bass setup that I've ever seen. I received the instrument a fair 3/4 days after it shipped and it came in a fairly undamaged box! The yellow color is much more mustard than the bright yellow pictured, but I definitely prefer the darker color! A great bass for the price! Super fast shipping, Tuning keys are bit stiff, the compensating nut has sharper edges than I'd like (it can be an issue with thread bindings or with tape-wound strings), and the fingerboard is bare wood. Still, sounds great and totally worth it.

I love my bass, but i still can't understand why you did not ship my amp with the bass. The bass was sent by FedX, right to my gate. The amp was sent Usps and the mailperson was bit by a dog,(not one of mine)saw i had dogs and did not leave the package. it was not till yeasterday that i got the amp, they lost it at the post ofice for a day.(that was monday the 21st) You may want to ship any and all apms with the guitars that they are being odered with

Received the guitar and it's associated goodies in fine shape. It really is a lovely guitar and the fit and finish is pretty much spot on. To my surprise it was actually reasonably well set up, so I just added some graphite to the nut, tuned it up, and off we went. Ordered a case for my Harley Benton ST90SA strat style guitar. Everything about the case was great, how the case looks, how the guitar fits in the case and the construction of the case. Shipping speed was awesome. My only complaint was it has a locking latch but I didn't get a key and they were unable to supply one but they did make it up to me. Overall I am happy if it wasn't for the key issue it would be 5 STAR!!

Quick shipping considering all that is going on. Holds my bass perfectly workman ship is good. Corner cap on one side could have been set a little better but it is secure. Case is flimsy when open but it rigid when closed and latched. Pretty good over all. Happy with purchase.
