Purchased this for my granddaughter who is already becoming an accomplished musician as she enters High School. She chose this model herself from all of the Glarry products. It is a beautiful guitar which arrived in a reasonable amount of time and in perfect condition. I purchased this for a granddaughter as her "electric" guitar to augment the acoustic guitar she already has. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time and in excellent condition with everything needed to begin playing. I was impressed that it was fairly well setup right out of the box! Checking against given setup specs from professional guitar techs for "strat" setups, it measured up admirably. I bought this to go along with the Bass guitar I also purchased and to the acoustic Bass with pickup that I already have. Arrived in perfect condition and in a reasonable amount of time. Fired right up with no extraneous noise issues and seems that it will provide a suitable practice and "jamming" amp for use by myself and my two granddaughters. Remains to be seen how it will hold up under extended use, hence the only 4-star rating.

I purchased two of these to go along with the two electric guitars I also purchased, one of which was a combo kit with a 20W amp included. They were fairly well packaged and arrived completely intact and functional and in a reasonable amount of time. I'm glad I upgraded to these over the 20W as they have more punch when compared. This is not a professional viola, obviously. You're not paying for the expert craftsmanship and beautiful sound that you'd get from a 1k+ instrument. However, for the price, this is the way to go. Great for beginners!

Can't beat the price. I picked this bass up as a take anywhere no worries instrument. I've played it every day since I received it the sound is great. I do have to tune it alot but the strings are new so that's expected. Tuner works great. Action is high but and easy fix. I have yet to plug it in so I'm not sure about the electrical side.

The guitar is great, it sounds great feels great and everything. The guitar can use some better strings however but other than that the guitar is fine. The amp on the other hand not so much, it doesn't have the sound quality it should, especially when being overdriven. Maybe this is because of my playing style etc. The amp most definitely isn't worth it unless you're playing on a clean tone. It's not impossible to use but it won't give you the vibe you think it will in overdrive.

Fun, with surprisingly decent sound for the $ Body (while tiny) is much thicker than it could be - and considerably thicker than most full-sized instruments. Neck and fretboard are well made. Electronics and output jack are sub par.

Had to deepen the nut slots,shim the neck,and adjust string height and intonation but after that,the guitar stays in tune and plays good.its a great value if you can do a little setup work.

This case looks good, inside and out; but, I have two concerns. The first is that the structural integrity feels a a little flimsy; the weight is on the lighter side (thinner wood, lightweight hinges/latches--3 each). It is a step up from a low to mid-range gig bag, but only just. I mean, for being one of the cheapest bass guitars on Amazon, it's not bad. But you can definitely tell it's a cheaply made instrument. As others have stated, mine too came with several blemishes, but nothing bad enough to me warrant a return. The tuning pegs are cheap, and I may try and replace them. Actually surprised on the quality for the price, it needs a setup which I need to do. Would I purchase another Glarry, yes I would. Shipping free which was nice, was delivered a little before 10pm though...was package great to prevent damage. The cable is open, checked with a ohms meter. .. The bow needs to be rosinized for a long time before it can produce sound. The pegs will slip and require a lot of force to push in. The sound quality is pretty good though, and the surface is clean and even in color. A very good violin for beginners.

The good: Surprisingly well manufactured for its price point, with no fret overhang and the electronics all worked as expected. The tone was surprisingly good. Not so good: The intonation was not set, meaning that the bridge saddles were not adjusted to ensure that notes are in proper pitch as you play higher up the neck. I love my new viola. It was fairly cheap, but it's not a crappy instrument. It is well crafted. The only thing is one of my C strings sounds a little off but still fine. I love that it comes with a case, a bow, rosin. I'm very happy with my purchase.

First, its fun to play! It's very attractive and it plays well. I was surprised how good it sounded. Volume and tone knobs are smooth. My only complaint is the "inlay" is painted on. I will definitely buy another Glarry Bass.

Great first violin for my son and I to play with and start to learn. I didn't pay close enough attention to all the size options, numbers for dimensions, or which one it defaulted to, so I was quite surprised by how small it was when it showed up. The pictures don't show anything for scale in them to make it apparent which one you are getting. Size aside, it's wonderful! My son and I decided we like it anyway and we're starting to learn!

The strings it comes with aren't great. Drop D'Addario Prelude strings on it and this cello sounds simply amazing. Tuning pegs hold tune, and don't slip. It's a solid cello for a student at an excellent price and it has a sound if you drop great strings on it. If you need a starter cello for a student - you cannot go wrong with this one.
