As a woman in my 70's, I bought this kid's bass after seeing several positive reviews where I could see an adult playing it, who said it could be good for older folks. I got the GB short scale, it arrived when promised. It was packaged up well enough and arrived undamaged even though the outside box looked like it had been bounced and thrown about. This is perfect for my purposes. I normally play Guitar, but needed an "emergency bass" to leave in the car at all times, in case my bass player doesn't show up at our twice monthly jam.
