I love the gt-501 and the practice amp.i bought and installed a preamp for the guitar and it sounds amazing. I do wish you had bigger amps. I did buy a 60 wat pyle,separately and the sound of the 501 was awesome. Next im planning on buying one of your flame style electric guitars.Im disabled, and on a fixed income so ill have to wait til next month. Its worth the wait. This is my second Glarry. Like the last one, it plays quite well once you set the action and intonation. Truss rod was already perfect. The body had some strange blemishes, paint imperfections that it looked like they tried to polish out. Not a huge deal though. There was also a strange rusty spot covering about 1/3 of the first fret, and the nut looks like it got mangled a bit during sizing. Action is good. Don't know if it's intentional but strings aren't aligned between the pickup magnets but are off center and partially overlapping. I hadn't seen that before and usually entry level stuff doesn't do things odd in the name of innovation. Regardless, it doesn't stop it from working. Had to tune it twice doing a sort of "pitch raise" like on a piano that hasn't been tuned in a while so maybe the neck bolt should be slightly tighter than how it came. I love my Glarry's ! This is a nice tele-style, very light...plays well, sounds good, I will surely buy others! Very nice black finish. One very minor scuff in an out-of-the-way spot, but I didn't even notice it for days.... so I may have done it myself. and it doesn't bother me at all. You will not regret buying one of these !

Being new to bass playing I can't really make comparisons, but if there is a better sounding bass than this anywhere near the price, I'd love to hear it! I teamed it with a Fender Rumble amp and it sounds awesome. Looks wise it's a beauty, it has a lovely finish and feels easy to play. The guitar apart, I would also like to comment on Glarry's customer service as I had a problem with the order which they dealt with quickly and to absolute satisfaction. First class and a definite 5 star!

Bought it as a first bass guitar to learn on. So far all I've noticed was a loose screw on the bridge. Otherwise it is very high quality and a steal for the price from what my bass addicted friend said after giving it his once over. In closing, keep up the great work glarry.

I have ordered 2 of these. Using them to build "Frankenstrat" copies. Out of the box, they both played very well for a $80! The quality is very good, although the 2nd guitar had a couple of issues. But I only noticed those issues because I took the guitar apart. The issues had nothing to do with playability/performance. Out of the box, straight neck, nice action, and decent pickups. I bought this bass 3 months ago. And it sounds fantastic. I had to do a set up and I'm still sanding the neck down for that feel. that said, excellent bass and soon I will be doing mods on it but that's not of a necessity. It's just a luxury.

Very satisfied with this purchase. As many have mentioned, you simply cannot beat the quality of this instrument at this price point.
