I got this because I love the sound of the bass and wanted to learn how to play. I was pleasantly surprised when I got this by how good it felt. I've never played or held any other bass but I think it's safe to assume that this is pretty good for how cheap it is.

For the price paid it's pretty amazing. Cosmetically perfect. Action set nice and low without buzz. Fret ends nicely done. Strings aren't bad either. Only negative is that the body is so light that it does have neck dive.

Love the natural wood and the tone is perfect. My personal preference is a thinner neck so I plan on getting a J-Bass neck and slapping it on there in the future. Great canvas for creating the ultimate groove machine.

Very happy with this purchase, as I'm just starting to learn how to play. It looks great and it plays well enough for me at this beginner level! Even my friends who are seasoned bass players are impressed with it, considering the price. I would definitely recommend this to a beginner or someone looking for a cheap practice bass.

Okay... You shouldn't be able to spend such a small amount of money and get something this good. I could not believe how well-made this cheap a$$ bass is. The neck is ready to go, but you made need to set up the bridge for maximum low action. I know bass players hate buying new strings, but when you ode this order new strings too. The ones that come on this are poopy. I also replaced the pick up in this bass too. It sounds like a $700 Fender P Bass now.

Great but you need to change strings and set it up a bit. I bought this so I don't have to bring my $1000 bass to jam sessions once I set it up t plays and sounds great. Out of the box it was ok and you can use it but either setting it up yourself or have someone set it up and you will be happy. I even put a fender decals on it and it looks like the real thing.

I've experienced most electric bass guitars and I've never experienced a custom made bass with such great sound. The weight I'd perfect. I've already used this bass to record and it's sound is top notch. Definitely worth the buy for beginners and non-beginners!

This "P" bass is great for the price. It looks nice. It is not too heavy. I do not know about the durability yet since I just got it the other day. Problems? I have some slight buzzing on the "A" string around the third fret and the pick-up have no bite. The accessories are a joke, but hey, it was only $80!!!!!!!!!! The fix for me? I am a college student with little to money, and just needed an affordable bass. When I bought it, I assumed it would sound cheap once plugged in. I was immediately proven wrong with how decent the pickup's sounded. They're not stellar, but they're not bad either. My only issues are with the strings and the neck. The online reviews of the Glarry bass are quite accurate.For the price of this bass it is a superior product. It does require some setup as do most instruments regardless of price. But in my opinion what is really superior is the customer service.I ordered directly from Glarry because of the reputation for good customer service.It turned out that I had a truss rod problem and it was taken care by a few emails in days not weeks.

I'm VERY impressed with this bass guitar! For less than $70 shipped, I don't mind that it's got a loose screw or has a really high action. It plays Better than you would expect, however the power output isn't as much compared to A $500 bass I use An upgraded bridge and pickup , some new strings perhaps , and it will be on par with the $500 bass. The bass is good for the price, though the one I received had some issues. The pickup cavities were not centered with respect to the strings - the neck pickup should have been located 1 mm further towards the G string side, and the bridge pickup should have been located 2 mm towards the E string side. The action was too high even when the bridge saddles were in the lowest position, so a shim was needed in the neck pocket to lower it. There were a few frets that needed to be dressed a little ...

If you are on the fence about ordering one of these then I urge you to do it. I watched a ton of reviews on YouTube before ordering mine and I'm extremely pleased with the J bass. I will be ordering a white p bass soon. I expect the quality to be on par with the J. Just get the bass. You'll be happy with it.

This bass bothe looks and sounds great frets are easy to reach, I cant count how many times Ive listened to songs that were easy to learn too, alot of songs are easy to play like War Machine by KISS or 7 nation army both were very easy, in short if you are starting out and want to learn to play bass this is the guitar for you. And also just kniw that the neck of the bass is heavyer than the body so Id recomend you should get a weight like im guessing 5lbs nothing major.

I will need to resolder the electronics because there is a hum coming from the internal electronics. The bass was very easy to set up and only needed minor adjustments right out of the box. I am very pleased with the bass for this price. The fingerboard is not polished, the neck and head stock do weigh more than the body so it is not balanced, but that is easy to overcome.
